Had an early dinner there when we were coming from Brandon on our way back to Naples. We started with the lobster bomb, which is lobster bisque in a bread bowl. Kind of like the clam chowder bread bowl in San Francisco. It was delicious! And they do not skimp on the lobster. Next we both had the lobster rolls. They were great. And again, they did not skimp on the lobster. It was reasonably priced as well. Finally we had the chocolate cake and it was really good. Glad we stopped by and you should too.
I have been to this restaurant 5 times or so and normally get fried clams (which are delicious and i am from New England so i know good seafood) etc but today I got the seafood roll and scallop chowder..OMG the flavor was to die for. I wld choose that as my last meal! It was that good. May go back tomorrow for another roll. I'm hooked. Idk what they use for seasoning its def smthn addictive!
One of the better places for quality service. We lived the outdoor ambiance. Onion rings were good for homemade battered. The lobster roll was no joke. Coleslaw was homemade and good as well. Many other things on the menu I want to try, so we will be back (and bring friends).
Stopped for lunch and would recommend. The soup of the day was lobster bisque, which was great. The house salad had tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, and broccoli on top of the lettuce. The serving size for our party was more than enough, we all had to get containers to take home--with that said the price is okay. Service was friendly and the food tasted great. They have indoor and outdoor seating
A must go to and try their lobster bisque. Superb, clean and the service was excellent. We ate outside and the experience was amazing. Prices are great for the proportion of the plate. Go with an appetite or ready take a doggie bag. I highly recommend.
This was our first time dining at Burgundy Square and it was awesome! We ordered the lobster roll which you can get hot or cold. We ordered one of each. Mine was hot and came with melted butter and French fries. It was delicious!! We also ordered the raspberry iced tea which was also really tasty! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went in the late afternoon which was a good time before the crowd arrived! We will definitely be back! ☆☆☆☆☆
Outstanding food and service! Would give it a 10! Wish we could have made room for the incredible desserts but next time for sure! Grilled Grouper sandwich and Meatloaf sandwich with slaw. So delicious. Coming back soon!
You owe it to yourself to order both the Boom Boon shrimp wrap and the meatloaf dinner!! If in doubt, explain your likes and the varied menu will satisfy any desires.
Great meal! Two of us had Lobster Rolls with generous portions. Other two had fish dishes and we had Onion Rings Appetizer. All were tasty. Cake slices were huge and each of us took half of them home with us! Gina our waitress was FANTASTIC fun, friendly and with a good sense of humor! Next time I am in town - I will go back. Ask for Gina :)
I had been here years ago and wanted to try it again. I remember really loving it.I love that they have local artists artwork all over the restaurant. I also love their menu options and the vintage collection of salt and pepper shakers. I love that they have an eclectic collection of coffee mugs from the thrift store.I had the veggie omelette with home fries. My sister had the spinach and feta quiche with a side of the “fresh” fruit. The fruit was bad so she returned it and got the home fries instead.I really liked my veggie omelette and ate all of it. My sister didn’t really like her quiche only because the crust was not homemade (it was a frozen store bought), and the feta was overwhelming and made the quiche very salty. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5. I would go again. But there are a lot of places in Venice that I’d like to try for breakfast.
