Stopped in with Dad on our way home from Dr's appointment in hopes to catch the day time Red Sox game on MLB. Paige the bartender tried for awhile but could not find their MLB channel. A little disappointed. Otherwise service, food and atmosphere were great. My family members frequent this chain of restaurants. I took my Dad the other day, while he had already had lunch he decided to order a dessert. The Cinnamon Caramel Crunch. OMG the largest and best dessert I have ever tasted. My Dad loved it. We had never seen or ordered this, but will again soon. I had the chicken tenders with frys and Cole slaw. It was very good as usual. Joe was our fine and attentive bartender

This was our 1st time trying British Open Pub. The menu was surprisingly large and offered many different options. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and well kept. Our waitress was very kind, informative and patient. We had a small indecisive group, but she took it gracefully.Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. 2 meals, 1 app, 2 beers and a sweet tea after tip exceeded $100.Definitely not a "every Friday night" meal spot, but very good. would reccomend & go again

Our server, Olivia, was super nice! Having never been here before, our group of 4, took quite a while trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. She was very patient with us as we scoured the menu. For appetizers, we all shared the Scotch Eggs and the Sausage Rolls. They were both very good. My wife and I have had scotch eggs once before, years back, and these stood up to our expectations. I also had the Bangers and Mash, and it was great. The restaurant was clean, the service was good, the food was hot, and the beer was cold. What more could you ask for? We will definitely be back!

The British Pub is a great place to enjoy happy hour. I don't care for their food though. Aside from my dinner being barely warm and carrots cold, I did not care for the taste. The mushroom gravy tasted way too strong and looked like it came straight from a can. The Ruben apps' crust were to chewy for me. I wouldn't eat there again.

The food was very unpleasantly greasy...not much else to say on that score because it doesn't really matter if other food items are good...EVERYTHING should be at the very least 3 stars to merit a return. Having said that - this was our second visit. We won't be back. Fried food should not be extremely greasy. Some one in the kitchen isn't doing a very good job.

Entrees were good and service was excellent. Enjoyed the Yankee pot roast and Bangers and mash. Only gave a four star rating because the vegetables were overdone.

They have always been phenomenal and I love their vegetarian options. Also, I love that they have the option that you can sit outside with your pup and pamper your pup with a bowl of fresh cold water and also a menu of food for your pup to order if you want your pup to eat with you. You guys rock!!!!!!

Visit here often. They have a great menu selection. Some of our favorites are the Scottish eggs, fried fish and prime rib. Wish they would change their French fries (chips) they are very thick and soggy. Service is hit or miss. We have had excellent service one day and another day not. The day staff is always excellent! British Open Pub is very popular with the locals and you normally get a great meal for a reasonable price. Definitely worth visiting! Great beer and whiskey selection.

Really good fish and chips!! Lots of fun there under the tent on St Paddy’s Day too

We have been going to British Open every March for several years (except last year - you know why) and have found it to be always high quality. The bar is a place for a drink and conversation. I highly recommend it. On March 11th I had the meatloaf wellington which with very dark rich gravy really hit the spot. We ate outdoors which is along the sidewalk and very public. It's nice though and where we would normally opt to sit. Another dish to think about is the seracha pulled pork, a wonderful dish if not actively promoted. Worth a try for pulled pork fans.
