Everything ordered was not correct, took an hour for a bagel sandwich and pizza slices. The bagel for the sandwich was cold (not toasted), asked for no olives but had them. The employee had to make our pizza three times (didn’t have any slices ready); first time it stuck to the pan, the second time he forgot cheese. When we finally received my daughters cheese pizza had pepperonis, my sons meat a palooza had peppers, and my wife’s veggie had onions, even though I asked for no onions. Terrible experience.
Coffee great. Bagels.. yuck.. cream cheese yuck yuck. garlic/herb dried herbs really disgusting . Staff friendly( young girl blondish pony tail) very nice, rest meh. Way too many patrons and employee coughing , projectile coughs or in hands, arghh.I wanted to love and support community but unfortunately yuck for bagels and gross cream cheese.
Excellent bagel sandwiches, fresh, generous portions on a warm bagel. Very good.However we also had the pizza which did not compare in quality to the sandwiches. We had the very veggie pizza, there was a smattering of veggies, very thin crust, not enough sauce or cheese. The pizza pulled my rating down. Really enjoyed the bagel sandwiches not the pizza.
OMG... would give minus 5 stars if I could . My wife and I were in about 9am yesterday and ordered two toasted bagels with salmon spread . Being from NY i was happy to see a bagel place in Venice . I wish I could tell you how the bagel was but we spit it out after 2 bites . The salmon spread tasted exactly like cat food . I urge the mgr, (owner?) to try this item before selling it to other patrons . At 9am he said to his staff ,OK i have to go to work now and left . He should know that running a restaurant is a full time job . I am still tasting this product in back of my throat . AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS....I rarely leave reviews but as you can see they are all good.....
Great bagels and a very interesting sandwich and pizza menu. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and the staff is friendly and attentive. Wonderful coffee options with a pleasant outdoor option.
I bought two bagels today One with butter one with cream cheese… didn’t ask them to be toasted but they gave it to us toasted.. The cream cheese has a funky taste to it and I could’ve done without the olives… Coming from Long Island New York I was told to lower my expectations about food here in Florida now I get it.. it’s not you it’s me!?!?!??

I had such high hopes for this place. Once again, Venice bagels dissapoint. The staff was friendly, the place was clean. The coffee was OK.The plain bagel that I had toasted with lox spread was disappointing. The crust was toasted, but the inside had no texture or taste. It was not chewy but soft like bread. The lox spread had bits of tasteless pink bits of fish, but did not taste like lox. The color looked unusual.My suggestion is to go to New York or Baltimore and spend a few days working and learning in a true bagel eatery. Get the product right.

Service was excellent! Bagel sandwich was very good and huge. My only complaint was the sandwich was very greasy. Drain the bacon first??
