You have to try it to believe it. I am not a foodie but my friends are. I could not have been happier.
Anna Marie our server was very nice and friendly! Excellent service! First time there for breakfast. Food was excellent! I had the BLT breakfast sandwich. My sandwich had arugula, bacon, egg and fried green tomato on sourdough bread.Hubby had the Corned beef hash. Our friends had the Banana French toast and the Frittata with sausage gravy on top. Highly reccomend!! In the picture the Corned beef was a half plate. Other half of meal was shared with my friends husband.
Fantastic breakfast! Best biscuits and gravy ever. Huge portions. Wife had a crab omelet that she said was tasty. Friendly local folks serving makes a meal special.
Be aware that this restaurant is ONLY open for Breakfast and Lunch. We were dooped into staying here because we hoped to save a travel trip out for dinner.Room is clean updated and very nice.Pool area looked nice too.
I stopped in with my wife and one of our friends we were visiting . I know they are not the original owners and it shows . The food is just a step above average , thats why I wish T/A would have "good" as an option , not just average or very good . We all had salads and they were again just a step above average . My Cobb salad had very inexpensive turkey and ham on top with very little blue cheese . I know my cold cuts very well slicing hundreds of pounds for Boars Head cold cuts for caterers for many years and these were not even close . It is a little pricey for the quality of food with nice service . And to the reviewer below , there is no chef in the kitchen ! Just line cooks , trust me I know . And if you dont believe my review thats fine but you should have seen how well they were rated years ago .
CLOSES at 2:00 pm; kitchen stops serving 1:40-1:45. It’s up to the chef when they close. BUT, if you’re in here in time, great little spot. We had crab, asparagus Benedict, breakfast burrito, frittata and chicken pot pie soup. All were delicious. Donuts only served on weekends. Service was excellent. Shout out to Steven. Nice side patio with tables, front tables are a little noisy from traffic. Inside in quaint and clean. We’ll be back.
I feel like you should be able to give no stars to restaurants!!!! This place should get none! We were seated by a waitress and that’s it. People who were seated after got greeted got drinks and we got nothing. The waitress who sat us stood in the side conversating with another lady. We got up and took our service elsewhere! I suggest never going there. Keep on moving.
I always enjoy going here as the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. Today our waitress was Brooke and she was a delight! However, I can’t say the same for the male waiter who I overheard harassing Brooke. I did not appreciate the tone he took with her in front of customers and it made me uncomfortable. He obviously was trying to provoke a confrontation with her.
Excellent food and friendly service. Specialty donut appetizer is a must. Best breakfast in Venice. Highly recommend!!
Everything was absolutely delicious!! Customer service was awesome. Prices were reasonable. I have never seen a restaurant where the servers and table workers hustle as much as these folks.. Stephen and Callie our waiter and table worker.
