Delicious food. Perfectly cooked pasta. Good service. Clean. Friendly. (Off season). Prices on the online menu are not up to date but still worth it.
Had the meal delivered thru a service, so it was cold. And STILL delicious. That's the best pizza in Venice, period! Had the carrot cake for dessert and OMG. The serving is so big, it lasted 2 nights. Finally, we have delicious pizza again. Bravo!
Limited menu for some reason short-term I guess. The food was amazing but they have the one thing that bugs me the most especially at an Italian restaurant hot fresh bread with cold individually plastic wrapped difficult to open butter. It's so annoying in fact that I'm keeping a star off. Other than that it's 5 stars.
Had dinner with my wife at Allegro tonight … our server was terrible and inattentive! Sadly the food was not good either! The server recommended the shrimp and scallops - four tiny shrimp and no scallops or maybe one scallop cut into microscopic pieces!? My wife had Penne a-la-vodka … also not good. Had to wait a considerable time for water. The server never offered fresh parmigiana with our meal. He dropped the plates off a push cart and never saw him again until the bill. We loved the live music and bought cooking - hand made cookies on the way out - those were good! Very disappointing as Italian and customer service/food are usually the best! We won’t be eating here again - maybe a cocktail and the band! We did order wine too - no wine list - he said everything was $29 and the Chianti was horrible - dry like the Sahara dessert … we just wanted good service and food - not here! ? I didn’t even take my leftovers - sad how things have slipped. If you deliver excellent experiences and good food - nobody would complain. I’m bummed it cost me $100.00 and ruined our experience!

Great flavors, great atmosphere, and fine service. You will leave full and most likely quite satisfied with the food. Service is a little slow, but you really should not go to a restaurant like this expecting a quick service experience. There's a full bar and the pasta can't be beat. The hamburger looked pretty good, too. Dessert is available and looks nice, but I did not sample it. I enjoyed my Moscow mule. It was a little tangier and sweeter than the average, which makes me think it may have been a little light on the vodka and ginger beer. The lounge next door is friendly, well-decorated, and filled with song.
Great atmosphere! Very slow service; they are very nonchalant when it's karaoke night. We had a party of 3 everyone's food was great except mine. I ordered the Lasagna their sauce is way too tangy for my liking, and there was not much ricotta cheese in it at all, and the Lasagna sat in a bath of the tangy sauce. I couldn't ask any question about it to the waiter because he was nowhere to be seen. I'm not a complainer so I had to deal with it.
Our server (Dennis) was very attentive and efficient. He was very busy as most restaurants these days are quite understaffed. Great food and wine made for an enjoyable relaxing dinner.
We had reservations for 8 people for 6:00pm Friday. We arrived at 5:50 & there was a mixup with our reservation. The owner, who had taken the reservation, had written it down for Saturday. The woman singer from the entertainment heard of our issue and got us a table. Thank you. From there it went downhill. We were told our waitress would be the owner. She never came by for drinks or menus. After 30 minutes we went to the bar ourselves. There was one bar tender that was slammed. We eventually got our drinks and finished them before anyone even came to our table to take drink orders. We finally got our food order taken an hour & a half after arriving. We had to continue getting our own drinks all evening, including water. By 8:30 l went to the owner and told her we were done. Either bring us food or we’re leaving. 8:45 we got our food but couldn’t eat it because it was too cold, not even luke warm. We got to-go boxes (asked for 3 times) then had to go get our bills. I stood there & waited for her to finish them. I delivered them and returned them to her with payment. We’ve been there several times and had good service & good food, but tonight was unacceptable. We should have walked out but hate to be “that person”. Will be a very long time before I try it again and will absolutely refuse the owner as our waitress.
Absolutely the best food ever!! The whole staff there are so wonderful and warm welcoming. Highly recommend to go to if your in a rut for good food!
