Absolutely amazing food and service tonight! We had the sliced pork, green beans, bbq beans, Smokin Joe sandwich and corn nuggets! We are stuffed! The portion sizes are great!
Cute little spot with great BBQ! They have a Pick 2 Combo for $19.99: 2 meats 2 sides and garlic bread. The Ribs and Brisket were amazing! The pulled pork and turkey was good too! Everything has great flavor. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw or Mac and cheese but the meats were exactly what I was looking for. And the garlic bread was delicious! Will be back soon.
I ordered the 40 lbs of smoked chicken first Memorial Day. They were closed today but went to work and made it possible for me to get hot, fresh, smoked chicken for my service team and employees. It was soo good. Tender, not dried out and the sauces were great. So much food. We will definitely be regular customers in the future due to the customer service and the great food. Thank you so much for going out of your way for us on this holiday.
Food is delicious and you get plenty, all of the waitresses are fantastic and friendly, very relaxed atmosphere.
The absolute best rib rub and smoked brisket!! Perfectly Smoked!!I had the combo with the cheesiest mac and cheese!! We travel all across the country and Mims Southern BBQ is by far the best we’ve had in a long while!! We will definitely make a point to visit this gem again! I had heard that the restaurant was not good. At first when they first opened. But I began to hear better reviews, so I tried it for myself. I ordered the turkey dinner and my companions had the pulled pork. We were pleasantly surprised. There was so much food we had to take it home with us we could not eat it all. And it was very very tasty. The green beans especially were very good that I had. The turkey was not thin like it is at Sonneys, it was thick slabs of Turkey! We will be back.
Clean place, awesome staff, quick service. The food was good too with big portions. We had brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, green beans and Mac and cheese. The brisket was fresh and delicious, and the pulled pork was flavorful and not dry, very good. They also have 4 sauces, that are absolutely delicious. Make sure to try the Bourbon one and don’t be afraid to mix them together. Very good and will come back. Thank you!

I’ve tried this place a few times before leaving a review. I so badly wanted to love this place but…. Very expensive for mediocre BBQ. Baked beans are some of the best I’ve ever had but not worth $8 for a large side. The brisket and ribs are hit or miss. It can be tougher than shoe leather or it can be ok. As a newer business I hope they continue to improve and listen to their customers.
My wife discovered this place while traveling home to New Smyrna Beach. It is without a doubt the best BBQ I've had yet anywhere near our area. Staff was excellent and the food was amazing! Will definitely travel the 30 minutes to this place to eat again!
