great food, great service
Ordered the special last night Friday it was served cold I did not complain, tonight I also ordered the special prime rib it was also served cold I sent it back they brought it back to me the same piece of meat again cold asked for the manager Karen came out and I told her that they had brought back the same piece of meat and it was still cold she assured me she would bring me another cut of meat she did it was also cold as ice the absolute worst food I have ever had at any restaurant
This place has a new chef as of May 1st, 2022. Apparently this chef changed the entire menu because he because he disagreed with everything the chef before him did. I orderd the fish platter, corona- beer battered white fish, one piece which was about a 3"x4" piece. It was covered with a dressing that I didn't recognize. The tarter sauce was creme-faiche tarter sauce which doesn't taste like traditional tarter sauce, actual it doesn't have much of a taste at all. It came with a mango-wasabi cole slaw and it was so spicy that my tongue got numb and my nose got very tingly, I thought this was more of a medication than a food. The manager of the Great Outdoor RV Resort is in charge of the restaurant and when we finally get a good chef, they leave for whatever reason. The entire meal was $18. The desert was chocolate lava cake and it normally comes with a couple of scoops of ice cream, this time it was 1/2 scoop.NOPE, won't be back until they get a chef that knows his way around a kitchen.
Found this restaurant on accident and absolutely love it!! Food was awesome! Manager came by and welcomed us! We enjoyed everything about this place!! Great view of golf course also.
The food was absolutely delicious ? unique presentation. Very different appetizers . So so good!
Food was good for a fair price. Great outdoor seating with views of the golf course.
Very good food and lovely employees.
Love this place! We stayed in the Great Outdoors for a month and frequented the Blue Heron several times during our stay. Love all their soups! Their food was fresh and the garlic rolls for dinner were amazing!
This place was recommended to us at our hotel. Upon arrival it appeared it was a gated community and we weren't sure we could get in. When we got to the restaurant it was a golf course. Cute place, great service and the food and pricing were amazing. Really enjoyed our meal. Would definitely recommend.
I went in at Happy Hour to have a cocktail or glass of wine and look at the dinner menu. The new bartender said the didn’t have a wine menu. So I asked about a cocktail menu. Apparently the bar manager then said the cocktails were on the dinner menu but then they were not. The Manager then abruptly stated “ we have a full bar.”. Ok. Still not sure what the wine list entailed, I left. It was apparent they were not interested in my business. So I went to Third Culture which was excellent. I tipped $40 on the $35 dollar check. And vowed to not bother going back to Blue Heron.
