I have been coming here for years; since all the way back to Whistle Junction! It is always good. The variety does not change too much, but I can't think of much else that is missing from this giant buffet. Personally, I like to load up on the raw items at the "Mongolian BBQ" and have them cooked and seasoned for me fresh, and hot. Now the tip jar at the BBQ is a point of contention for me. One would think that $ goes to the cook making your dish... I have been told (by employees) that the tip money goes directly back to the register draw. Or, into the owners pocket. I don't how true that is, but when I tip, I want the $ to go to whom I give it!
I wished it would have more variety and the food wasn't warm enough to my taste. One thing that I really liked was the gloves, everybody were given a glove and when they were going to the buffet they needed to wear it, this was a very good concept ? ?I did read some comments some of them mentioned the rudeness about the owners, we didn't have any issue, I believe they are Asian and the Asian people talk kind of angry but they aren't. This is a different nationality and we need to get use to.
I went for lunch, for takeout. They charge by pound. price was decent. It was good, had a variety of items some of the stations should be refilled quicker. Didn't taste everything since we did takeout. Place was casual and there was quite a few people there for late lunch. They also have sushi.
I don’t quite understand the bad reviews. Salmon was amazing, the barbecue ribs were just as good as Cydermen’s BBQ, and all the other food was good. Although my fries were cold but that’s OK. The one waitress that was there on Monday January 31 was as sweet as she could be. Great customer service! Give her a raise. It’s rare to get good food and good customer service.
Very angry and rude owners.Give you bill halfway through the meal. They have cut back on their quality. They stopped serving spicy tuna rolls. Their pepper tuna used to be sashimi raw and now it is dry,over cooked and of cheaper quality. They are very slow refilling the sushi bar. One dude seems to do habachi and sushi and he seems way over worked . Habachi items are slow to be refilled. Chicken items such as lemon pepper, general tsao's are tough and rubbery as of late. They are never busy for lunch and I can undertand why!! No free hot tea offered??!!! Aldi's cookies for desert!!! I would rather eat frozen P.F. Chang's than this junk. 1/5 stars.
Well stocked and re-stocked hot dishes, fresh food and some sushi dishes prepared. Disposable gloves issued for healthy handling of the serving spoons so individuals can select tbeir own meals. Efficient clearing of used plates from tables. It's great value for money and we never leave hungry!
Will never return. Sorry. Decided to give this a try but a bad decision. Asked by 3 different staff members how old my children were as if I was lying about their ages for a free meal for them, food was horrible. I would expect food to be fresh right at lunch time but not here, food was cold, hard, re warmed I don’t how many times. The place was clean but that’s all they have going for them. Yuck.
It's been a long time since I've last eaten here, or any buffet for that matter, so my family decided to try it out this past Sunday. I must say it was overall a great experience.I really try to be reasonable when going to buffets. You're asking a lot for very little. Usually that means compromising quality for quantity. Not so much the case here. Sure, some things aren't made to order composed dishes, but overall the food is really tasty and there's a great variety. I'd even go as far as to say some of the food is comparable to single order restaurants of the same variety. That's really a compliment when you're mass producing the food for a buffet. Try to go when there's good traffic, so the food is fresh. Don't expect the entire line to be flipped just because you walked in, lol.The prices are great. When you consider many of the dishes are roughly $10 purchased as a solo meal somewhere else, having so many to choose from and the overall quality makes it a real value.The restaurant itself was very clean. Barriers, masks, and they give you a glove to use while at the buffet itself. The bathroom was equally clean. Could tell they took pride in their establishment.The waiter was very polite and diligent. Continually checking on drinks and plates for clearing. Watched from a far, was there just enough and not too much.The owner runs the cash register and helps as a hostess I believe. She seems to have an active role in the business and really care about it.I've said a lot of good, so here's my one critique - We enjoyed ourselves so much our first trip, we took everyone back out again a week later. The first time, they asked the children's ages once and it wasn't an issue. The owner asked. The second time however, my eldest who is 10, was rang up as an adult. When I asked them to correct this, the exchange felt a little weird. Didn't like that, as I'd never try to get one over on anyone. And tipped 25%. Anyway, I'm sure they deal with some bs, so I get it.
If I could give this place a -zero I would. Food is ok, if you can still enjoy it with the woman owner waiter/ cashier without being yelled at. I am surprised people still give them their business. Watch out for the loud and rude owner. I will never, never go back to this place again. Owner yelled at me for coming in when the opened the door. All of this is because she had a problem unlocking the door. She often yells across the place at guest. WORSE BUSINESS WITH THE WORSE FEMALE OWNER. NEVER, NEVER WILL VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN.. SHOULD BE CLOSED FOREVER!
Lots of tasty food to choose from. There was a good amount of customers there, but it wasn't noisy at all. Very clean establishment. Staff was attentive. They provided gloves to use at the buffet which was cool. It's been forever since we've been to a buffet, so our experience here was a pleasant one. We'll definitely return. ?
