The place was very nice and clean. The environment was homey and th food was amazing. The service was good and friendly. The views from the bar area were great. Just noisy in that room.

Our first visit back after nearly 10 years. The quality of the food and excellent service was exactly the same as it was back then. They are to be commended for a job well done. You won't be disappointed!

I don’t mind paying more for a meal if I get excellent food and service. Unfortunately, that was not the case tonight. The service was okay - nothing special. The waitress was overworked and overheated; there was very little if any air conditioning. We asked that it be turned on and were told that it was on. We were the only occupied table in the bar area and they couldn’t cool the room. And the food. What there was tasted okay but for the price, I expected a full size meal not a half portion. For example: my husband’s $22 burger was a 1/4 lb. of meat and steak fries. Won’t be going back. No, we didn’t ask for the manager. Since none of the 8 of us received a decent meal, it had to be because of a management decision.

A group of us ladies living on the same street enjoy a monthly luncheon, always choosing a different restaurant. There were 6 of this time. Everyone enjoyed their meals although we all thought prices high.

Long time customers hate giving negative review however don't appreciate if you order off regular menu. (not a special) You have to get sides without a choice and if you do make changes, regular nothing upgrade 2 sides are $$$ such as baked potato or spinach? No credit on mandatory sides so recommend just ordering additional sides anyway.Come on Palmer, Most Nice Restaurants will let you change regular priced sides!!

Along with some friends we wanted something to eat after playing a round of golf. We entered the Palmer Legends country club and were faced with the most unwelcome front of house staff that I have met at what is supposed to be the friendliest hometown. We were treated with contempt- as if we were not ‘good enough’ to be eating at this establishment. We were directed to a table by the most sullen and unfriendly lady I have come across in the The Villages. This happened to us during a previous visit and we had hoped that things would have improved disappointingly it had not. We will not be visiting this country club again.

If a ice cream scoop of potato salad and a burger for $20 is your kind of place, you will probably be okay with Palmer. Burger was just a burger but the service staff was good.

Lunch was good. Like most places, prices keep climbing. Like the patio and service was good

Had dinner reservations last night for 6 people. Got to the bar for cocktails at 5:45.The blonde female bartender was not very welcoming when we sat down at the bar. Seemed annoyed to have to wait on us. We had to wait to get a second drink because she was to busy washing glasses!! It's too bad to be greeted like that because the food was very good, and our waitress was fine.

Dad surprised us with a visit to this well-known and highly recommended restaurant in The Villages. It was so disappointing that none of us talked about it. The clams and mussels pasta tasted like it was in a dishwater sauce. The shrimp angel hair pasta was flavorless. The lollipop drumstick appetizer was cold inside and the flavor was not of bourbon or pineapple best described as greasy. I could only eat one and had the rest packed up to bring home to the dog. We all had french onion soup as an app that was good but extremely hot as if microwaved on high for too long. The waitress forgot our bread but she was friendly and efficient. When we were in the car on our way home we felt badly for my father who wanted to impress us but instead paid over $170 for a lower than low quality meal. We didn't mention it to the staff because everything was bad and that would've ruined our whole night.....
