Service was very slow, there were two waitresses and they seemed busy but did not come back to see us after the food was served. My wife ordered the veggie pizza and liked it, I ordered a hot Italian hero and it was neither hot or very Italian, very light on meat and cheese and cold, more bread than anything else. We also added a Greek salad and it was very lacking, mostly lettuce, very few toppings.
Have frequented NYPD for years and enjoyed the pizza. Picked one up tonight and it was AWFUL- I can’t describe the ‘off’ taste but seemed liked cheese and little bit of sauce was rancid. Greasy and I had NO ham on my pizza. It’s the last time for us- and it’s a shame.
Meh. Expectations were higher but it’s a typical Florida pizza… greasy and average ingredients. You can find the same in any other pizza joint, no doubt with better atmosphere. For good chain pizza, I recommend Flippers 100%.
Hit or miss. I have been in before and had the BEST most fresh and amazing pizza but I have also gone in and gotten old, cold pizza where the sauce is clumpy and the peperoni hard. Last time I went I had the latter and will wait a bit before going back.
The staff is great -- personalized, attention to detail. Comfortable environment. Love that they remember I love Unsweet Iced tea, a salad and a pepperoni roll. I wish I had one in Michigan!

Their Pizza never disappoints.
Not a great experience. My husband found a long grey beard hair on his pizza. No employees seen wearing hair or beard nets.No one was courteous, no one said hello or thank you or goodbye.Online ordering didn't work correctly so toppings were added after pizza was done, waited 15 more minutes for them.Two 14 inch pizzas were 42.00, plus a 6.00 tip paid in advance with online ordering.
Great food pizza is the best in town.. one thing you may not know about them is delicious chili also..my waitress was named Magda and was awesome.. ask for her...oh prices can't be beat for a true new York slice ?
When I'm in the villages on Fridays this is my pizza spot! Been eating here for years because being a new Yorker I know great New York style pizza and subs when I eat it. Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area!
