Overall a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere and service were really good. Our first time here and had lunch. We both had the Mexican salad bowls. The food was good but not as flavorful as I like Mexican food. This why I took 1 star off. It is worth the time food cost.
Place was nice, salsa was good, ordered chicken, gave me beef chimichonga. It was ok my husband ordered Chile relano with beef, no beef hardly and small. I don't think we will go back.
Very pleasant staff, especially CJ, our server. The food was excellent; the Chicken Jalisco was spicy without being too hot. Naldo's is worth a try.
The burrito de fajita was good. It took 1/3 of the burrito to get any chicken. I was worried there was none. The refried beans were overcooked & dry.The fajitas were about a cup & a half (really?) Very small size. The rice was overcooked and had a weird flavor. No return trip -ever
Just finishing up a great lunch on the patio.Me: Polo fajita quesadilla. Excellent.Wife: Polo Chile Relleno. Again Excellent. Our waitress: Tammy, Excellent. Very friendly and attentive.Manager: Excellent. Brought a bowl of water for another couples dog.Needless to say, I'll be back.
We stopped here about 5:30 pm and there were two parties ahead of us. We stated that we could be satisfied with either in or on the patio dining. Another three couples came in free us. We we’re finally seated on the patio. 5 minutes later the other couples were seated near us on the patio. Our waitress finally showed up 10 minutes later, after one of the other couples seated after us were served by another waiter. Strike one. The waitress took our drink order, and we got chips and salsa. 8 minutes later we finally got our drinks Nd placed our order. The Texans fajitas were a bit over cooked, but tasty and was enough for the two of us to share. Our server showed up after we completed our dinner. Never showed up to check our progress or if we were satisfied. She was worth about 1.5 stars for slow service and concern. We may come here again, but not for a while. There are plenty of good Mexican restaurants in the Villages.
Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had! I had the fajitas- they were greasy and terribly over cooked. Stay away!!
Ordered our food and drinks. Noticed that another table ordered after us. Noticed another couple came in about 15 minutes after us and then ordered their food 10 minutes after they were seated. Noticed the same with another couple after that. They were all served their food and I thought ours would be right out. 10 minutes later I went to were our server was by the kitchen and stated what I had just witnessed and told him to cancel our order. Sad thing is that they did not even comp the soda and the manager said nothing. Point is don’t waste your time or money. So sad.
This was a terrible dining experience, upon arriving and walking up to the hostess station, 3 servers were bickering with the hostess, about tables and tips, while we stood there listening to this, waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence. Finally after almost 5 minutes, we were told it would be a 10-15 wait. We could clearly see, there was only 3 occupied tables and close to 20 empty tables, we should have walked out then. We finally were seated, and ordered our meals and an appetizer, we never received our appetizer, and one of our meals was incorrect. The manager came over to us, and we told him about, the meal being not right, the fact we never received our appetizer, and the unprofessional conduct of his staff, his only response was "maybe we need to look into retraining our staff" A good manger/restaurant would have tried to do something to keep the customer happy, but not here, and the clear impression we got from the manager, was he could care less about our concerns. Needless to say, we will never go back there, and would not recommend this place.
There was no one inside the restaurant. There were 6 people standing waiting to be seated, 2 had canes and 2 had a service dog. 2 females were sorting silverware and finished their task before seating we 3 groups. Left us standing there waiting rather than seating us. The food was awful. Was barely cooked rather than heated. The refried beans had sat so long it had a coating on it. The rice was quite dry. Awful
