Had dinner there tonight. It was Clean and bright. Service was fast (thanks Javier) was busy for a Tuesday night!Good food and Margaritas were great! Ordered Sopapillas for dessert and they were all out. That was a bit disappointing, but we will go back. Lived in Texas for over 17 years, so the bar was set high for Mexican food, was good!
Gorgeous interior with a clean and lively environment-- lots of colors, statues in cutouts in the wall-- and delicious food! We could have used a little more attention at our table, but our waiter was very pleasant and didn't forget anything, so it didn't detract from our dining experience much. Would recommend if not planning to eat a lot (can be pricey)!
We tried this restaurant when it was Naldo's and it wasn't good. Several people told us about eating there this month, after new owners and menu change. The restaurant will be called Tequila Cantina. We decided to give it another try, and are so glad we did! There were four of us, and we all had something different. Everyone loved their meals. They were flavorful, and served piping hot! We lived in Mexico for 3 years, and I can tell you, this restaurant is authentic, and the food was delicious! This will become our "go to" place for great Mexican Food. So happy we finally have a great one in "The Villages"!
We are from Homestead Florida and what the means is we have a large and beautiful Mexican population. We have an abundance of amazing authentic Mexican restaurants to choose from that we frequent regularly. We are not Mexican, but consider ourselves experienced when it comes to Mexican food.We had dinner at Naldo’s Mexican Kitchen and I will say their food is right in line with those amazing authentic places we frequent in Homestead Fl. My carnita tacos were juicy and delicious and did not need to be covered up with sauce or extras. (I love a great street taco) my husband said, his burrito was the best he has ever had.The owners are very friendly and spent just the right amount of time chatting with us and making sure everything was right and we were happy.Please give them a try don’t let this wonderful restaurant go by the way of so many others!
Had lunch here today and I have to say, this is my new favorite. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing! We won't go anywhere else from now on. 10/10 Highly recommend!
The food is delicious! So much attention and care is put into every meal. Have only been there twice so far but will make it a regular go to for lunch.
Went to Tequila Cantina (formally Naldos) yesterday. Lunch menu is great. I had the two burritos, one chicken and one beef...both excellent. House salsa was tasty and had just a little heat to accommodate all diners. We asked for the hotter salsa and there was no issue. We also had a picture of house margaritas, very good. Lookinf forward to our next visit. Keep up the great service and food, you will be a big hit in The Villages...Thanks!
I had dinner here a little over a week ago for the first time. I had a garden salad with ranch, steak fajitas and a draft beer. Everything was really good. The salad was crisp and fresh and the fajitas were some of the best I've had. I plan on returning.
I walked in one afternoon. There were maybe 4 tables with customers. I asked to place a To Go order only to be told that they were not doing those (why turn away business??). Then that same woman asked if I would like a takeout menu. Why the heck would I want a takeout menu if takeout isn't even allowed? Lol I went back on another night and dined in. Food was good, not great. The place is in a great location and has so much potential. Too bad the people working there seem so miserable.
Lunch service was fast and servers were friendly. Food was good, maybe slightly bland. Prices are hard to argue with though.
