We just came for a drink at the bar and had an odd experience... I might go back to try the food, but not the bar. The bartender was very odd and I'd even say a little pushy. The hostesses were very nice and the restaurant was beautiful.

Pleasant surprise! A touch of elegance in this little gem. We only had the margherita pizza but it was fantastic! Fresh everything. The cannolis were outstanding as well. Don’t miss out on this excellent Italian experience.

First time wife and I were eating here. Dinner with another couple on a Tuesday night. My spaghetti and meatballs were very good. Half price on wine till 5pm. Great service.

2 couples went June 6th @ 11:30 am. Joselin was polite. Owner manager did visit our table. Mezza was not busy. We had the eggplant parm & Linguini Pescatore plus soup of the day. Questions: Had to remind Joselin about my second draft beer. Soup of the day and entrees were not hot. For a comparison, my wife orders eggplant parm at every Italian restaurant in The Villages she ranks it 4 out of 5. We have reservations for July and will see if this was just an off visit

I ordered takeout for my visitors, The food was awful, Very small containers with minimal pasta, The chicken piccata was not prepared correctly, plain chicken breasts which appeared steamed served on 1-2 ounces of pasta with some butter and lemon, The chicken parmigiana was so small and buried in sauce with minimal pasta. The calamari was rubbery with buffalo wing sauce. Terrible pizza prepared different from the menu description, The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the servers are very nice but that’s all it offers, The food does not creat a representation of an Italian restaurant but more like fast food Italian chain.

Service was mediocre, my shrimp scampi was bland and they left the shrimp tails ON, they told us wine was 2-for-1 but then my wife's Mascotte wasn't. All in all this place needs to step up their game. There are lots of places with a similar priced menu that has better service and better food.

We went last night to have a cocktail and dinner and approached the bar , where the bartender ( Kim) told us the Bar is closed for Kentucky Derby party ( which was not posted anywhere) people were sitting there, no hats! I never heard of holding chairs at the bar/ or to reserve them. Please note I had a hat on so what was there priority? Will not see us or family or friends. Poor customer service … now we did move on and was telling our story to other people & said the owner Fabian - would never let this happen ? But it did.

We came here on a Tuesday evening with a bunch of neighbors for our monthly night out. We were not disappointed. Christian was our server and was the most polite and attentive waiter that I have had in a long time. Took our drink orders and filled them, then at an appropriate time told us of specials and then took our food orders. Each meal comes with a house salad with choice of dressing. I had the fettuccine Alfredo and had mushrooms added to the order. They did not charge extra for them, a nice touch. My spouse had the pasta and vegetables and was surprised at the amount of artichoke pieces along with other vegetables all cooked well. Our neighbor had penne and sausage and was extremely pleased at the tast and size of the order. Other neighbors all were pleased and many took home the extra food for tomorrow lunch. The owner came over and asked if we were satisfied and we told him yes. They did have a singer doing some music at a proper decibel level, which was a nice alternative to canned music. We will return soon.

Lots of good Italian restaurants in and around The Villages. I’ve dined at them all. Although I’m rarely disappointed at any of them, only 2-3 I’d rate either 4 or 5 stars. So, here’s why I gave Mezaluna 5 stars. First, ambiance. We walked in and are met very pleasantly. Nice, soothing music being sung live. White linen tablecloths. Tables not crowded together. You can actually have a conversation during dinner. Service was impeccable. Polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Oh, and she didn’t refer to us as “you guys” (pet peeve). I loved the menu. Price points from just over $10 up to $30, with most choices in the mid teens. Last two trips I’ve had their Calzone(tremendous!!) and the eggplant Parmesan (excellent!). Their homemade bread is unreal, and they’re not stingy with it! One in our party had a minor issue. Was quickly resolved and then the general manager came over to apologize. I’m just not sure what else I can say about this place. It has moved up to my top 2 Italian places here!

Went with a group and the food was good serve a little ragged very busy at the time we went but overall was a good experience
