Was served quickly and politely. The place was clean and welcoming. The food came out immediately. Price is right. Waitress was very nice. The fish tasted fresh but I can't tell you enough how there was simply no flavor in the fish, fries, sauce. Also everything is served in like these wide pasta bowls which are hard to eat out of if cutting is required. You will know what I mean if you have been there. 100% will not be eating there again. I really felt like I was eating hospital food cardiac ward low sodium. And I do not traditionally salt any of my food.

I went here for the advertised $8.00 lunch special. Turns out that was a misprint in the paper. However they had a fish and chips special for $10. Well the special turned out to be a fish stick and fries with 1/3 cup of cole slaw. What a rip off. Only the service was good. I'm a year round resident here, and if was not for the $8 lunch I would not have gone at all, as I really have not been satisfied yesterday or in the past. I am now officially done with the Lighthouse.

Love this place. Great people working there. My favorite meal at the light house is Saturday twin Lobster tails. Usually great. Tonight there was hardly any meat on them. The meat was dried upalmost like it was in the oven too long. Will still come back though. Hopefully it's just a one time thing? Love the Employee's and the atmosphere!!! Thanks, Robin ???

Made a reservation and on arrival we were seated immediately at a table overlooking Lake Sumter. Cold beer and onion straws started off our meal. Entrees served hot were jambalaya w/garlic bread, fried shrimp w/fries & slaw, and baked haddock w/two sides. Everything was very tasty. Give this place a try .. you'll be glad you did!!

Came to try something new in town and left extremely disappointed. We came for oysters and they weren’t on the menu so when we asked about them was informed we could ordered a dozen oysters lightly steamed so we did without even thinking first mistake Because they had a bunch of shell pieces in them making them extremely difficult to eat they we did inform our server but nothing else was done and didn’t find out til we got our bill they were 25 dollars a dozen! We also ordered the gumbo and shrimp basket while the flavor for the gumbo was good portion size was definitely disappointing especially for the price of 17 bucks a bowl. The fried shrimp tasted like burnt old oil and again portion size was a disappointment. We left with a hefty bill which wouldn’t have bothered us for good tasting food and decent portions.

View from the outside deck and the service both excellent. Food very average. I had $15 fried shrimp basket that was overcooked with no flavor but the dipping sauce. My wife’s medium well burger came medium rare.

We stopped in for lunch, midweek. The place was very busy and noisy at the bar, but the service was good. Outside seating was not available at the time. They only have bottled beer, no draft. I ordered a tuna sub. It was an average sub, but there was definitely a lot of tuna in it, enough so I had enough left over for a second meal. My wife had the Salmon and Fruit salad which was very good. There was a large piece of salmon, enough for another lunch. Prices were reasonable.

Fabulous MUST TRY in Lake Sumpter!! Best, fast, amazing service by our server Justin!! Food was fast, fresh, mounded high and delicious!! Nachos w beef packed, and loaded w fixins! Our chix wings were prepared just as we like..plain w sauce on side..bleu boom, hot, and bbq sauces were hearty portions!! Justin, the food, and the amazing food are all terrific!! Just remember not to feed the Gators!! Oh and if your from New England you'll love all sports memorabilia!!

Arrived 400 pm for happy hour. Service outstanding. Had jambalaya for entree and boom boom shrimp for appetizer. Both serve hot. Will come again in future. Both tremendously servings. W

Seaside faire. I'm usually disappointed. At this quaint spot on the water, the food was greasy and tasty. They even have gluten free options for batter. They know what they are supposed to do and they do it well.
