I went on a Thursday afternoon at 5 to catch up with some old friends and ex coworkers. It was fairly busy but I still had no problem driving through Brownwood or finding a parking spot. Our server was amazing. Extremely quick even though we were sitting outside and the restaurant was fairly packed. Very friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness without being annoying.I had the cheeseburger. It was good. I prefer fries with my burgers but they didn't have them so I opted for chips instead.
$5 martini Monday is a joke and false advertising.Ordered a lemon drop martini (well vodka and sour mix) and got billed $9 a piece. When I questioned this price, Allison the manager said it was not part of the deal. ????Told her that even Blufin across the street had $5 lemon drops during happy hour. She told me to stay at that place. Very rude. I will never return.
Excellent pizza aka “flatbread!” Last week we had lunch here. We were served immediately. The waitress recommended a delicious draft beer (in lieu of Allagash white) and offered 2 “tastings” to be sure I liked the substitute. Our flatbread was very thin, covered with thick cheese and very tasty! The ladies who sat next to us also decided to order it and they loved it too. My husband loved the French onion soup and salad. Everything was fresh. We’re coming back!
We went there after the live entertainment in the Brownwood Square ended after 9pm, which it was one of the few restaurants still open for business. We had the Nachos which were delicious and our server was Chad who was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Great place to eat and have a few beers. Prices were competitive.
Great service & food! We sat outside for dinner & ordered a turkey, least & brie flat bread pizza & a burger. The pizza was very tasty...a little sweet, a little savory. It was too big to eat all of, but not big enough to take home leftovers. You know how burgers look in a commercial and you're disappointed when it gets to you because it doesn't look the same? This is not that burger! It was a picture of deliciousness & tasted that way, too. Our server was attentive and never kept us waiting.
I would leave more then 5 starts if I could. Good was awesome better then o expected. Emily was a great waitress and very attentive to all her customers. I will definitely be back again keep up the great work everyone there.
Went for lunch with my wife. Found the food to be excellent. Service was good and pricing was fair. Not a large menu but would still recommend this place.
I’m in town for a fire department class and for lunch we visited the City Fire American oven and bar. The place was clean, not very busy and the staff was nice. I ordered a Flat Bread/pizza. This thing was a load of cheese and some meat, I’m telling you that there must have been 4 cups of cheese. The guys I was eating said it was weird that I’d order just a cheese pizza. I remarked that it was the meat lovers and they reacted in a funny way.
5 of us went here for lunch mid-week. We all had great entrees with more than adequate amounts. They have good draft beer on hand and great service. I can recommend this place anytime.
Three friends and I wanted to have drinks in Brownwood. The bar seats were taken but the rest of the restaurant was empty. The hostess refused to seat us because others MIGHT show up and want the tables. We were insulted and if I were the owner the hostess would be dismissed or, at least, retrained. Very disappointing experience.
