Our family decided to spend some time in Tarpon Springs for some Greek food that was also pet friendly. I ordered the Grecian Octopus topped with feta cheese , kalamata olives, pepperoncini, diced tomatoes, red onions, and garlic sauce. The portion was enough for an entree which isn’t typical for octopus entrees. My wife and oldest son had lamb gyros and my two younger sons ordered hamburger. We enjoyed the meal and our server was friendly and kind.
Some of the best on the block! The portion sizes are massive so you won't be leaving hungry! The kids menu burger is on the larger size as well so keep that in mind for your little(s). Overall it was a great atmosphere and reasonably priced for what you're getting for it ☺️
We can’t say enough good about this place. Seriously, the food was incredible! We came in at closing time and they not only stuck around for us, but encouraged us to come in and gave us EASILY the best service we have ever had anywhere. Yianni was so caring and attentive, got everything perfect. He went way above and beyond what I would expect anyone to, especially at that time of night. Nick was busting his tail to make sure the place was clean and neat, and helped us with anything we needed. We didn’t catch the owner/managers(?) name, but he was so extremely kind as well.We had a variety of foods, as there were 7 of us plus baby, so we really got to taste a good portion of the mention. So so so so good. We will be back!
This is an AMAZING family owned business. We did the Spongeorama dolphin cruise beforehand (and saw dolphins!! They also serve alcohol on board) and the next day we came back to try Yiannis. Omg 10/10 amazing service and amazing traditional Greek dishes. Our group tried the octopus for an appetizer and I was not sure how it would be… AMAZING tender and tastes like scallops, you have to try it! Everything we ordered did not disappoint! This is a must on your trip to Tarpon Springs and Tampa!!!
We have been to Tarpon before and we decided to try this place out. This place was delicious ! The saganaki and the octopus were my favorite! We also enjoyed the live Greek music. We definitely would eat here again.
We went to the sponge docks for a walk, usually I shy away from the restaurants on the main street as there are to many snow birds this time of the year. My wife and I passed Yianni's and almost passed it by but we spied an open table in front and sat down IT WAS FANTASTIC! I highly recommend the grilled octopus.
I wanted an air conditioned place to sit and relax for 45 minutes before our boat cruise. I had coffee, and my husband got baklava. Devine!!! They did not rush us. While we're were there someone got a meal that was set to flame with a flourish. This is a casual, family restaurant with wonderful baklava.
We were very impressed with the service and atmosphere. Our server #13 on 3/30, was very good and personable and the bus person was on top of it. Party of 4 eating Greek food for the first time and we are hooked! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thanks for the memories.

Great restaurant in Tarpon Springs by the sponge docks. All the traditional Greek dishes plus many seafood choices. Casual atmosphere and generous portions.
