I'm giving four stars because the pizza is great. Garlic knots were bland, and I've gotten bad service the two times I have eaten there. I'm super mild mannered and never lose my cool but the two times I've been there they were snappy. Honestly the pizza is so good I can probably overlook the rude service but I may stick to takeout.
Nice family run Italian restaurant in a small retail strip center. Foods seem to all be fresh and made to order. The lasagna had a nice sauce but seemed overcooked with the noodle texture and the char on the meat. The Alfredo sauce is very heavy with fresh cheese and cream. So be prepared for a heavy homemade Alfredo, a plus if that's what you seek but for me was too heavy. The alla Vodka sauce provides a better balance of flavor and eliminates the extreme heaviness of the Alfredo, yet is still on the heavy side. The flavor profile on the alla vodka also lacked the little zing and boldness I seek, so some extra oregano and some crushed pepper was added by me. Overall this place is worth a visit since while just an okay place by my taste buds. I could also see how someone could rate this establishment both lower or higher than me.
We always order here on the weekend and first time they forgot my chicken on salad which I paid extra for. Called in and the girl said I didn't order chicken and clearly I am looking at a receipt online and it says $2.99 for chicken. So they tried to blame me first for their mistake. Then she said they can not refund me for the missing item then told me it was pointless since I would have to wait 5-10 business days for my money. So next time I order I'm supposed to call over the phone and tell them they owe me a credit. We'll see if I get the credit next time. So much for the chicken salad I just ordered and didn't get.
Ordered takeout and it took 1 hour and 53 minutes. The food was cold and the delivery driver smelled like marijuana. The bags that the food came in smelled like smoke. Called and talked to the manager and we were offered a 10% credit for the next time we order (approx. $3) or they would remake the food (How much longer could we wait to eat at this point?). The manager suggested we speak to the owner who was not available at the moment. In the end she said have a nice day/evening/ whatever and hung up. Unacceptable. Why would we ever go back?
Very good food bring a jacket it's always freezing cold in there. My main beef was that they would not serve pasta with extra sauce had to be ordered as a side and still was not enough. Would not recommend if you like a lot o sauce.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. You won't find better pizza, Italian specialties. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. I can not recommend this restaurant enough.
By far the worse pizza I ever had!!!! It was typical of a pizza that was made earlier and reheated in their busy hour for take-out customers like me . I WILL SPREAD THE WORD !!!!!! Do your self a favor get A Walmart pizza ..
It's just not what it used to be. I'm very understanding in the current business climate of slow service due to lack of staff. And certainly understand price increases due to supply chain challenges. However, the one thing that can still be controlled is food quality and accuracy...
The bar!! Its awesome to sit at this very quaint bar while waiting for your food, and enjoying a wine or two while summing up the days events!!! I almost feel like Im at church drinking the wine and saying prayers
