This has been at least the 5th time we have ordered pizza to be delivered… we’re less than half a mile away and we still can’t seem to get good pizza. Our pizza doesn’t even arrive warm (it’s cold). Every time.. we have even paid the “extra” to make sure we’re the first delivery- which you can watch the maps and see it clearly isn’t the case. Unfortunately this is the last time trying to get a pizza from this Papa John’s… hope others have better experience than we have!
Just had a New York Style Pizza ordered for the second time this week. Absolutely Fantastic. First time was a carry out, Hot-Fresh-Took less than 15 minutes to make. Second time, was the best delivery service I could have ever asked for. I didn’t grab his name, I wish I did. This saint of a man, called us beforehand, to let us know he was in the neighborhood “incase we had any sleeping babies or dogs” He had the hospitality of a Southern man, and made us laugh as he handed us the pizza. Best interaction I’ve had since Covid hit. I’m glad this man has a cheerful spirit, and Papa Johns, I hope your treating him well! 10/10 will always order again. Thank you for your great service and DELICIOUS PIZZA!
The "NY" pizza is anything but. Arrived cold, likely since driver got lost TWICE (according to the online map tracker), even after calling me and ensuring me he knew where to go. Pizza sauce advertised on box said it was "spicier" when NY pizza is often just crushed tomato. Very off-putting. Additionally the kibble-like sausage was heavily flavored with SAGE. I felt like I was eating breakfast sausage, rather than Italian. Was actually one of the more disgusting pizzas I've ever had. Please get Italian sausage with FENNEL in it and nix the spicy sauce. This pizza was a monstrosity. Ate one slice and threw the rest away. Even JETS has better NY pizza and their SPECIALTY is Detroit style. Never again.
First of all the hell up you need to start this conversation is this is literally the worst place in Pinellas county to ever try to order pizza. First of all we started off with the lady that could barely speak any English and she ended up transferring our call because she didn’t understand the second lady decided to transfer us because we had a promotional code they were using to get 50% off and she thought we were paying with a promotional code so she transfer the store manager the manager at this point were told us that we were trying to pay with a promotional code and it was just to get a discount on the actual order itself and nobody at this place understands what the difference between ordering a pizza and Work is very rude manager highly do not recommend this place due to the fact of pretty sure not one of them has a high school diploma would really recommend Papa John’s looking into this place due to the fact of poor leader ship lazy workers and just are very rude in their store and total if you want to place a recommend I would recommend dominoes or something even better than Papa John’s because they are terrible and I mean terrible with customer service
Ordered a NY style pepperoni pizza last night from Tarpon Springs, Florida. It was delivered in 55 min, not 30-40 as I was told. It was no way near a NY style pizza, I know because I'm from NY. Hardly any cheese and tomato sause. Dough was soft and soggy. Plenty of pepperoni, though. Still, I will never buy again. I get better tasteing pizza from the frozen food section at the supermarket
Had the stuff crust pizza delivered and it was amazing the delivery driver was very polite and the women who took our order was very helpful and was very respectful we definitely will be ordering again
Our pizza was delivered cold. Watched the driver on the tracker double back atleast twice delivering other pizzas before ours. See the 1 star review below mine posted 59 minutes ago. I'm guessing the same driver? Also, not sure if ingredients changed or if the smack John Schnatter talks is true, but this wasn't the same pizza it used to be. Very unevenly sauced pizza. Dry on the inside and pools of sauce towards the crust. Huge bubbles in the crust. It obviously wasn't rolled. Just not the same pizza and I wouldn't recommend it. The jalapeño cream cheese rolls were good though.
First time last time!Just moved to the area and decided to try Papa John's because they are .01 mile away, literally down the street. I placed and tracked my order, when it was ready the estimated delivery time was 3 minutes. Well, I saw the driver go past my address heading South, he obviously had no intention of stopping since he was in the far left lane of traffic. My 3 minute delivery which I watched count down to zero now said 6 minutes. Still tracking my order I observed the driver go past my location heading North.I called the restaurant and I have not dealt with such incompetence in a long time. At one point the manager tells me "oh he delivered it already" to which I had to respond "then why am I on the phone talking with you and not eating my dinner!?"Once my order took a tour of the neighboring town up North the driver finally arrived 45 minutes after the initial 3 minute delivery time. The driver was upset at ME and gave me attitude! Of course at this point my food is cold and I an upset. I threw the food in the garage and I'm standing here PO'ed and hungry writing a negative review.Never again ?
Great food. Friendly people. And very prompt service. Will definately order again from there.
2 times I've ordered TUSCAN SIX CHEESE sticks which cost most and gotten regular cheese sticks. Work on your quality control. You have a menu for a reason
