Happy hours beers have almost double in price. All you can eat shrimp has gone from $15.99 to $21. All you can eat fish and chip from $12.99 to $19. Some of the tall chairs are wobbly and feel like they are going to break. They don’t understand their Tiki reward system. 150 point is worth $10. 375: $25. I had 250 and they said I didn’t have enough to redeem. Staff doesn’t have a clue. Place has gone downhill
Outdoor seating has a great tiki hut bar with a beautiful waterfront view. I had steak tacos. The flavor was tasty, but the tacos had very little ingredients. Only had a small amount of lettuce, tomato and barely any steak. Husband had the fried shrimp bucket and enjoyed it. Lots of shrimp and fries.
The Scampi pasta was al dente and full of flavor, the grouper tacos were tasty and the coconut shrimp bucket was fragrant and not greasy, but the biggest surprise was the fried Brussel sprouts, which were tasty, light and a hidden menu gem. We also loved the calamari, done so they were not chewy, and the dirty banana drinks. Great food experience. Our server Richard certainly made it worth a while even more by giving us fabulous suggestions and serving us with flair and promptness.
We “snagged” an outside table (just in time also). Staff is super friendly at least our sever was and she was right in top of everything. Really nice menu choices and my wife said the Margarita was excellent. Her steak sandwich was done just right. I had the Hurricane pot with carb, shrimp, mussels, corn potato and snow crab. It was good not the best I’ve had but not bad either. Prices were what you’d expect from a tourist town but not gouging either. Worth a try if your in the area and nice view of the boats in the inlet.
Their food is always good and the service is quick and pleasant, will go back as always, recommend their blackened fish sandwich
Wife and I had dinner this evening (Nov 16 2021). I had the fish and chips and she had the grouper sandwich. We each had a drink - pina colada for her and beer for me. Food was adequate - nothing out of the ordinary. Fish was fine, but got a little soggy toward the end. Fries were good but the hush puppies were a little chewey. Server "Clayton" was right on point. The big draw here, I think, is the waterfront dining. We had a table right out over the water, and the weather was just perfect. Cloudless sky after sunset was just perfect. The place is pretty big, and they were having a private birthday party upstairs, and there was live music downstairs.
We waited to grab a table by the water and our server was very prompt and polite. We ordered dry red wine and somehow it was served chilled. We got over that. The food was very good and tasty. I would definitely come back
My wife and I went there to begin, with 6 people. First my wife ordered an old fashioned they brought her some kind of fruity drink. When we told the server it was not an old fashioned. The server said the bartender did not know how to make one. Returned it and got a Rum Runner. Then my Wife ordered calamari not bad, cooked well, then we ordered Coconut Shrimp way over done and so dark. Over $20 for that, then I got fried shrimp with onion rings they were so soggy. I could not east them. The shrimp again like cooked in nasty old grease again over $20 dollars. Worst dinner experience ever. The Server was the only thing good about our experience atmosphere not bad. The bill for my wife and I with tip was $98 ridiculous for terrible food. I left a comment which they claimed they would reply of course not. They could have at least replied. Definitely just drive on by. we were there the 18th tarpon location
During a recent vacation to the area, this was our choice of restaurant for crab cakes, coconut shrimp and fried shrimp buckets. It didn't disappoint. We sat outside and it was great in spite of a rain storm that lasted through our whole time there. Our server couldn't have been more helpful and took great care of us. And the food was excellent. I'm still dreaming about those coconut shrimp. So good! The crab cakes were great too. The only bad thing is that, since it's considered outside, people can smoke at their tables. One of our party has an extreme allergy to cigarette smoke so that was a problem for us. The server got us moved to a different table, to give us some more distance from smokers, and also turned a big fan on us that helped insulate us even more. Problem solved, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!
Excellent service , l always order the fried calamari and blackened grouper. but what makes this location so special is that there is a Tiki boat with a captain docked right next to the bar. Even has a bathroom onboard! We sometimes order food and drinks and head out on the water for a river cruise, dinner cruise, sunset cruise ect... highly recommend especially if there is a long wait for seating at Captain Jack's
