Omg. This was amazing! So flavorful. So generous and very affordable. I’m so happy to have found this place! This is samosa chaat. ??
I don't know how this place got rated to 4.4 stars, in our opinion it is a disaster. We regret not to ran away twice, before receiving the food. Entering the restaurant the floor was sticky from grease (throughout the restaurant). My friend grabbed three different chairs, before she found a "clean" one. The samosa appetizer was frozen in the middle and the utensils were dirty, with greasy fingerprints on them. Plates were wet, with remaining grease spots. My chicken was undercooked and the garlic Naan was cracker like (instead of being fluffy), dry and the garlic was not defined at all.Positive: the curry was tasty, and our waiter was kind and polite. All together, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had.
We ordered a chicken biryani n mutton biryani take out last night and was horrified to see literally thick yellow rice with pieces of meat in it. It’s by far the worst biryani I had in my life. They should never call it biryani, it’s a disgrace.
We ordered the chicken biryani and karahi to go. There was ample food for 2-3 people in one serving. The karahi was really yummy and well made. The biryani left a lot to be desired. I was surprised at how unbiryani like it was considering that most places get biryani right. Some pieces of naan became so hard and impossible to eat after a 30 sec microwave warmup that I couldn’t tell if they gave us old naan that was stale or if they didn’t bake it right?? Overall pretty disappointing for a $40 meal considering all the good reviews :(
There is no doubt, 99% people will post their complaint if they have received a bad service but a very few would take a surveys if you have a good experience. This place is like that to me. Looks ordinary but it’s really exceptional and one person could make a difference , Miss Bruny is like that. An awesome nice and smiley face lady who really makes a difference. Her service is extra ordinary and exceptional. Anyone can try food from this restaurant as she makes it so good. Thank you Bruny for your best services. It doesn’t cost money to be good to the people. Thanks for your always smiley face. You are a great personal. A good human being. I would love to back this restaurant again and again………
Amazing little Pakistani place. I had the chicken Biryani and the Samosa chat. Both of which were absolutely flavorful. Had the Gulab Jamoon for dessert. The host was extremely sweet despite it being the rush hour at Iftar. Would love to go back and try some Haleem next time.
ZAUQ is the best restaurant for Indian and Pakistani food. They have amazing food and great prices along with a friendly staff. ZAUQ is located in a great location and they are always on time with my order. I order from here atleast once a week and even more sometimes. If you’re looking for Indian/Pakistani food then definitely give them a try because you won’t ever be disappointed.
Very bad experience! Don’t worry aster your money not worse at all!!! We barely taste one bite from the appetizers and main course taste horrible we left everything and no one asked us what’s going on and they charged us for everything!!!!!
Gotta say, not great. Waitress was standoffish. Called ahead and asked if they had goat. Arrived and after ordering found out they were not. Got the biryani as it was the only thing I could eat due to celiac. It tasted like chlorine. The wife got tika, it was... below average. There was one gentleman working (maybe the manager?) whi tried his best to be accommodating. But honestly it was all around a huge disappointment. No idea how they have such great reviews.
The most tasteless and awful food. Never had this bad of food anywhere. Dhuwa chicken (per staff's recommendation) chicken was dry and burnt, sauce was under cooked with no flavor. Naan came out of frozen package and reheated. Even after complain, they charged full price while shaking their head like oh sorry but pay-up.
