I was very excited to try this restaurant because it has 5 start reviews and a long wait line, but I was very disappointed with the food.I don’t know if it’s because it was a Sunday and the restaurant was packed, but the food was not well made.I ordered a Sake roll which is just rice, salmon and avocado. My roll was literally falling apart. I couldn’t lift it up without it breaking. It also didn’t look appetizing because you can tell it was made in a rush and over a dirty sushi mat. There’s avocado spread on random places outside the roll. Only thing that was good about the roll was the salmon itself. It was fresh and tasty. My friends and I got the chicken fried rice to share and the chicken was over cooked. It was dry and chewy. However, the rice was tender and perfectly seasoned. The staff was very nice and the restaurant itself was clean and cozy. They also have good prices and deals. I guess you get what you pay for.
Pretty good sushi for the area! Reasonable prices. Unfortunately there were some minor cleanliness issues with their glassware. The pork belly bao was very tasty.

Love their staff and especially their new host and take out person, Olivia! She’s is super helpful and nice. Love the menu and glad the prices haven’t changed since inflation has hit. 10/10 Quality food and amazing atmosphere. Genuine authentic Japanese food.
I ate here years ago and it was great…tonight was very disappointing! The food behind the glass at the bar looked as though it had been sitting there for a while. The tuna wasn’t fresh and the shrimp tempura batter was too thick and dark. The spicy mayo was luke warm and tasted old! Sooo disappointing!
One of the few places I go for a good sushi fix. Tampa is lacking in quality sushi spots (in my opinion), but Yoko’s consistently delivers. The fish is always fresh and the specialty rolls are delicious. The prices are decent, as well!
Great Japanese place in South Tampa, lots of options and one of the few places that has donburi/katsudon. Tempura is delicious
We loved this place! The food was excellent. The Japanese bagel sushi roll is so delicious!
Ate at the bar. The happy hour Kirin with salmon and tuna made my evening. (That freakin delicious Kirin, I could use that to brush my teeth..) With so much discount I got, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Seems to be a busy place to get tables!!
Yoko's is a phenomenal! The servers there are kind and funny, the atmosphere is comforting and the food is great! This is our go-to spot!
