I ordered the cheesy fun guy on gluten a gluten free bun, so it came as sliders. Food was decent... a little over priced for 2 little sliders ($17 and some change with taxes and the $1. Surcharge). Nothing else comes with it. The gf oatmeal cookie that my friend got for me was amazing, but if prefer it without the cream if it's an option.Cute little place, you can go in for a drink or a little snack as well.
The owners are awesome and the food is delicious!
Last Tampa trip we tried a different location Vegan Deli and were happy to see a closer location in Ybor. Food was great. I had the Cali Wrap. My daughter took the vegan pizza which is big for one person but she saved some for later. My son took the 2 for 10. And of course we topped it off with chocolate chip cookies. Everything was tasty and great service!
I was in town for a work conference and stumbled into this gem! Spent more than I should have on deliciousness like chicken broccoli salad, gyros, and some of their dessert items....so good. Definitely check this one out!
I tried a vegan Cuban .. wasn’t bad at all. However I came back this time for an impossible burger & was told the burger was 12.95 plus an additional dollar for inflation surcharge. My complaint is the website says an impossible burger is 10.00 and does mention anything about extra costs! I showed the cashier the price saw online & he seemed a little unsure why.
I had the hash brown, just egg, beyond burger sausage Patty sandwich. It was tasty. When I used to eat meat I made one very similar, but it was two pieces of Texas toast, a fried hash brown, ketchup, cheddar cheese, bacon, and egg. I think a bread product on this sandwich would’ve been nice and I think the tomato made it a bit soggy.This deli has other vegan items to purchase as we as a nice indoor and outdoor sitting space.
Was a great place until something happened with the Original cook and now the food doesn't even taste the same and doesn't have the presentation it used to be, feels like it's quickly Slopped together. Very sad because I used to LOVE the Burgers and I kept trying but was disappointed the last couple of times.
Excellent vegan wraps and sides! They’re “Crack-aroni” was delicious and they have a great variety of vegan goods and groceries inside to buy! All around excellent experience I’ll be sure to come back
I am so glad we found this gem of a restaurant! We have been only about a 1/2 dozen times but everytime the food was excellent & super on point. The staff is always super friendly & they have even given us samples often of other awesome items, thank you very much for having amazing vegan options.
I’ve given this place multiple tries but each time the food is “just okay.” It’s disappointing because I want to love and support a vegan restaurant. I’m not sure what’s off each time, maybe the lack of seasoning or nuance to the items? It seems like the menu is becoming longer in length which may add to employees’ confusion on what ingredients to include (lowering food quality) but it definitely makes it harder for customers to order. I suggest keeping a classic menu (familiar wraps or sandwiches) in addition to a “build your own” menu.I got a quesadilla and it was mediocre, honestly I have made better. I don’t want that at all to be the case when I order something - trust me I’m a very lazy cook. The Impossible meat barely had any added seasonings and there isn’t anything unique about this quesadilla to make it memorable. I want to experience the joy of going out to eat because the love and labor put into the food; not to reflect on “I could have made this at home.” This quesadilla had barely any cheese and about 1/4 of it was actually melted. If you bake vegan cheese long enough, it will melt so I’m not sure what happened. I opened it up to see it was mostly tortilla inside instead of other ingredients.Lastly, no employees were wearing a mask. That’s ridiculous especially at this point in the pandemic. They are kind people but kindness also extends to showing you care by not spreading COVID-19.I do want to support this deli and its efforts, however, I can only see myself returning again if I’m desperate for food. The price and quality simply are not worth it. I’m looking forward to change in the future.
