Woody! Where have you been all my life? Probably in a somewhat hard-to-get-to strip mall off of South Dale Mabry. Other than parking difficulties, there is nothing bad I can say about Woody's. First off, nice atmosphere. Not fancy, but clean, and kept at a nice temperature. I ordered my food at the counter. Dude taking the order was cool. Food tastes 10% better when the person taking your order is cool. They bring it out to your table when it is ready, and it did not take long at all. Wanting to stuff myself, I bypassed the reasonably priced lunch special menu and went for a full whole wheat Caesar salad wrap and a bowl of lemon chicken soup. Both were excellent. The lemon chicken soup I could live off of indefinitely, and the garlic sauce that came with the wrap was amazing. Fountain beverages are available, and the wrap comes with a bag of chips (some I had never seen before which was neat). So my order might have been pricy for lunch, but that was my doing, and I really enjoyed it. I'd come back here again to try more delicacies. Woody's for the win!
Ordered a simple Turkey sandwich. Sooo good! Tasted fresh. Comparable to Wright’s. Definitely will order again. Their Cesar dressing is classic. Yummy!

Honestly, Woodys is consistently great, but the hours of operation suck now. 4pm. close. We had til 6 before. A little ridiculous. How many people work til 5, put a hand up?Unfortunately, I do not get to dine there or order from there very often anymore due to the early closing....
Ate at Woody's for the first time and they did not disappoint. My salad was delicious and the portion was very generous. Always love a great family owned place.

Is was my first time coming here and picking up and order. When I approached the counter, I was greeted by a charming man with the most beautiful blue eyes! He was kind and professional. He took the time to explain the specials and direct me to them. Also was knowledgable about the food and suggested great choices for next time. As far as the food, it was amazing! My Italian wedding soup was better than I've ever had since moving to Florida. My Ceaser salad was also delicious. The portions were a good size for what I playedThe food was tasty and I really love it. So in would recommend this place to any one looking for a new place.
The soups and salads are always great. Customer service is always great. Today was a little different. I ordered the lasagna and the young man asked me if I was getting a soda out of the cooler. I asked him if it came with it because I had already asked for a cup of ice. He said I can get one out of the cooler and he wouldn’t say anything. The guy behind him says where he comes from snitches get stitches. So I responded with I don’t even drink soda. I don’t need anything for free and I don’t steal. I wasn’t sure if they were trying to be funny because I was the only African American person in building or what. But that was a bit unnecessary. I come to get a salad at least twice a week and if I wanted to drink a soda or anything I would purchase it. I probably won’t be back. I’m almost sure I can find a salad somewhere else and feel comfortable at this point.
It was a very nice experience. I want at lunch time for takeout. The place was very busy, about 7 people ahead of me in line. I observed that staff being well organized, efficient and polite. I was in and out in maybe 15 minutes. I ordered 2 chopped Greek salads (1 with chicken) and 1 Cuban sandwich (pressed). I had one of the salads which was delicious.
