Cozy ambiance. Love the wood taste/smell. Quality ingredients too! Will definitely order again. Kept it simple because my kids a picky eater. But they had extensive options for pizza which I was definitely interested in.
Really cool list of wines you can sample in 3 oz pours. Pizza was amazing and Caesar salad was definitely enough for two people. Mike was super friendly and helpful!
I’ve always loved the pizza at this place, but when I tried to meet a friend for lunch today were were treated so rudely I wonder if I’ll be back. They open at noon, but when we arrived a few minutes before noon we were told that they open “noon-ISH” because “we are not a bank.” We wouldn’t have minded waiting a bit for them to get set up but the person who “greeted” us was so annoyed with us simply for showing up that we decided to go elsewhere.
Celebrating Easter Sunday with something special, and supporting local businesses...my adult daughter and I gave this restaurant a try, since we live withing walking distance. I couldn't believe the cozy excellent service we got from our server Nick! The appetizers we each ordered were "gourmet" and tantalizing. And the pizzas....we asked him which sweet wines to combine them with: he gave us the best zinfadel in the house. We took the rest of the pizza pies home; it was worth the splurge. I highly recommend all to come here.
Pizza is always amazing and the owner really cares about quality from the ingredients on up to the final execution. You rarely see a local establishment with this much concern for customers. And you will never see a chain like this. This is a true gem
Some of the chefs know how to cook a pizza and some don't. I've had the experience that Nate (below review) had with a rather soggy uncooked crust, but other times the crust was done right. It's hit or miss at this location.
Found this place while spending 33 days driving back and forth to Moffitt. Was desperate for pizza one night. Ordered the Big Sexy. The crust is really nice and bubbly and crispy. Toppings were fresh but a little uneven—only a few brussel sprouts, an artichoke here and there, just a sparse handful of pistachios. The spinach was fresh, though, and the ricotta was very light and there was plenty of these. It had a delicious taste. When I went to pick it up, it wasn;t ready so I sat at the bar and had a glass of white zinfandel. Was kind of shocked to pay nine dollars for it when it was time to close my tab. Also, as we were eating at the hospital, I asked for paper plates but there were none available. Kind of pricey but the place has charm inside, the staff is friendly, and the pizza was really delicious. And they have lots of really tempting combinations
The ugliest and coldest pizza I’ve ever had. Regretting ordering this. Chicken tastes like canned chicken and the pizza is clearly not fresh at all! (Ordered 30 min ago).
Best pizza in Florida, maybe the entire southeast. The crust, crisp, and crunch from those brick ovens just can't be replicated. Not to mention all the ingredients and cheeses that are hand made, in house. A classy place with fine wine interlaced with casual South Florida feels. Booths, tables, bar seating, nice and subtle tvs and takeout options. The only 8+ rated pizzeria in Tampa per the One Bite pizza app.
The pizza was amazing and the setting is quaint in the best possible way . The staff is friendly but overwhelmed. I would love to give them five stars but the service is not great. totally worth it to eat there just be prepared. Also don't send them electronic orders. There's something wrong with that system and you're better off calling.
