I was really hoping to like this place. I ordered the collard greens way to salty to eat, then I tried the mac n cheese and it tasted like noodles and a plain sauce no flavor. But i did enjoy the drumsticks those were amazing.
Very delicious vegan food. I had the Jamaican Plate. The rice and drumsticks we’re seasoned perfect and had a lot of flavor. The cabbage and plantains tasted great together with it as well. If you experience swelling due to hypertension as I do, you may notice your swelling decreasing as you eat this delicious healthy food. Healthy food with a healthy benefit. I love it!
The Red Velvet Cake brought me back!??????It was soooooo good that I honestly couldn't remember everything I ordered the first time I was here. ?This trip I tried the following dishes:Pizza Empanada - Very tasty and fulfilling. It had just the right amount of filling.Sweet & Spicy Drum Sticks - They are really good. The only thing I don't like is that it's very stringy and it gets stuck between my teeth. Just have floss next to you as soon as you finish eating!??♀️?Saffron Rice - Was very flavorful.Candy Yams - Were not overly sweet.Chick Peas & Potatoes - AMAZING!Twisted Star Crunch Dessert - Taste exactly like a Nutty Bar by Little Debbie.Red Velvet Cake - Delicious as always.This restaurant is currently cashless and contactless. Once you arrive to pick up your dish, they bring it out to your car.
I was a little disappointed because the reviews had me hype just to be let down… I ordered chopped cheese, drumstick platter, apple pie empanada & pizza empanada. Honestly everything was amazing except my drumstick platter. It was TERRIBLE!!!! Like seriously greens were so salty, yams were flavorless as hell, the drum sticks were ok I guess more so the sauce. They made the food extremely fast though. Everything was correct as well. Chopped cheese was so damn good I’m mad I didn’t order that, I wanted to eat so my shawty food?? the pizza empanada was AMAZING!
Oh my gosh!! My husband has been a patient at Moffitt for 33 days now and I have been coming here every day. Today is Ash Wednesday and I needed my one meal for the day—meatless. THANK GOODNESS I found Vegan International Kitchen. My son and I ordered the gyro box and the seitan box and they were both AMAZING. Very flavorful, fresh and light tasting despite imitating usually heavy dishes. The sauces were bright and light. The stuffed gape leave had an incredible freshness and mint taste. There was plenty of food in both boxes. It was an incredible bright spot in what has been an extremely dark time I wish I had found this place sooner. It was my first time ordering here but will NOT be my last. Thank you Began International. Everyone needs to have your food! I am looking forward to trying the pizza empanada next time!
