It has been weeks since I posted the below review and Tropical Smoothie Cafe has yet to respond to any of my messages. Very disappointing from a company I truly used to enjoy.I visited this Tropical Smoothie Cafe last Sunday. I ordered a smoothie and a wrap. Within a few minutes of paying for my order, one of the employees came out to say there was no one able to make food until 4:00 and anyone who just ordered would have to wait. It was 3:15. I had somewhere to be, so was unable to wait. I asked for a refund and was told no one working knew how to process a refund. I tried to see what my options were as I had already paid, but both of the employees working had no idea how to handle the situation. One of the other patrons in the same situation said this same thing happened to him 2 months prior and he had a post-it note written for him to receive his meal at a later date. I received the same post-it note, but do not live close enough to this location to probably be able to honor it (if anyone even would). I had to leave as I was running late at this point, without my food or a refund. I have written to the company privately since this happened as I am still astonished at the situation, but have not received a response. It is an absolutely horrible way to run a business. I understand staff shortages and maybe not having enough time to train (although this has happened twice in two months), but at least make an attempt to right the wrongs when they do occur. I would warn anyone who wants to order food at this location to make sure they have the staff to prepare it before paying for your order.
Walked in from a nice long trail hike with my wife the first moment I walked up the door was smashed and was covered with plywood? Then the ac is off and hot as hell one girl was working did not say any thing to me gave me eye contact. There was only one person in the whole building and not busy at all. If I would give this negative stars it would be -5 when to Starbucks next door was out in 3 minutes
I came in today to get food there was a young lady named Ariana working there (remind you its my first time eating here) Her customer service was horrible.. As I'm trying to order my food she says Ive been doing this all day and I really don't want to do this...Me looking confused responds I'm sorry excuse me are you saying you are not taking my order? She then says I really don't want to but I guess...That is unacceptable. I left without ordering I don't want anyone with that type of attitude to take my order. I would like a manager to reach back out. As a customer I don't feel that was appropriate behavior.
Slow and unprofessional employees. They work slow intentionally ? so sad to be next to USF in a busy location with this kind of employees, never ever again to this branch
Smoothies are good but the cashier service sucks (the young one with the ponytail in the glasses) she needs to be retrained on keeping her orders straight . Ten people went before I got my smoothie. Front cash service is awful and that's why they got only two stars
Poor customer service No engagement Inordinate wait time for order with out apology or eye contact Was arguing with a customer with young children about their order. That guy gave very clear easy instructions at least 3 times. they still screwed it up and still couldn’t get it right. While my order was done and left hanging 30 Minutes for 2 drinks? This is not the only location that has had awful customer service Waffle House is always perfect at customer service. Tropical Smoothie, rarely
friendly staff but my mango smoothie tasted watery, didnt taste like a smoothie at all
Ordered online and waited at the counter for a good 5 minutes after the order was ready. Couldn't get anyone to acknowledge the order. It's not hard to look up at customers right in front of your face.
Firstly, if you're going to put "Caesar" in the name of a food item you should probably make sure said food has that ingredient. Luckily I had some in my fridge to add.Secondly, teach your people how to properly cut a wrap. Someone told them to cut it corner to corner and now I have an awkward taco that's falling apart. Saw someone post a review that said they got smart and stopped cutting them so they wouldn't fall apart. Apparently that employee was "corrected" or quit.Oh, and smoothie was more like juice and chucky ice that blocked the straw, soo...fail on all accounts
Smoothie watery make the peanut butter taste like mink
