Wish I could give a better review but only because the food was great, I'll give this place a second chance and maybe update my rating.I'm amazed that so many reviews are talking about good service when I had quite the opposite. Not sure if this was just an off day but living in the USA, I've grown accustomed to top notch customer service. It's such a disappointment when I visit a place that's supposed to remind me of home and I get terrible customer service with a very off-putting attitude.The young lady who took my order had a very hoggish attitude so something needs to be done about that.I'll give this place a try one more time before writing them off entirely. Hopefully the owner takes note.
Awesome food and obviously prepared fresh with care. However, my roti tasted like the dough or the grill butter might have been freezer burned. Curry chicken was fantastic.
This place made me feel like i am back home in Trinidad,Best doubles,Saheena and Aloo pies i ever had. Trish the owner was welcoming with a beautiful smile, everything we had was made fresh. We came from Bradenton and called her on the way to order 30 doubles, 5 Saheena and 5 Aloo pies. Trish had already finish breakfast and was preparing for lunch, But waited for us to arrived to prepared a fresh batch, What a nice lady. I will surely be back to try some more of her cuisine, like her Roti, Give her a try, She won't disappoint
Lately I’ve been craving spicy food. So I was looking for a real authentic spicy trini roti in Tampa and found Trini Spice. This was my second time going. There doubles real good and got a nice spice to it. Customer service is great, I definitely recommend!!!
Great food. Flavors are unique and excellent. I ordered the curried chicken roti and my wife ordered the curried goat with rice. The spice is not a hot spice but gives powerful flavors. They gave us a side of pepper sauce which is very hot. The goat was surprisingly good with great marrow flavor. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I like both rice and roti so we shared and loved the dishes.
We Googled this place to try the Doubles and they do have good Doubles. The Aloopie was okay but long and skinny. I tried other items on the menu and the Doubles is what we will go back for. They have different specials everyday so call or check them out on Instagram.
Poor service , these reviews are all lies , from my experience this place is horrible . The hot sauce is like water and I waited over one hour for my food that I pre-ordered the day before . People be honest when you are writing a review .
