Amazing burger spot for lunch with a great vibe! These folks are knocking it out of the park! Delicious bacon cheeseburger with all the trimmings. Thick and juicy! Philly cheesesteak style fries are phenomenal. Loaded fries are great too. This place needs to be on your radar for a great cooked to order burger. Do not sleep on this place, get here.
This was an enjoyable burger. Juicy, well cooked, bun was dry and not slimed up and soggy, and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. Fries were golden and crispy as one would hope. The young lady at the front was a breath of fresh air and kind to everybody who came in the door. Had some real neighborhood charm which I loved. My only critique would be cleaner tables. They weren't very clean at the time. We'll absolutely return when I get a craving for a good burger and fries.
The food was delicious, quick service and super chill spot. They have a big bar with lots of TVs all around. They have iPads on each table to check the menu. We came after a night at Ybor City and had steak tacos as appetizers and two burgers. We replaced regular fries with sweet potato fries. The location is in the downtown area, and there is a public parking right on the corner.
Love the vibe the place offers. Staff is friendly . Now to the food . Burger has a great meat to bread ratio. Bacon cooked to perfection . Meat is moist, good fat %. However, I asked for pickles, young lady said I could ( please note I added an ‘s’, so this is plural) . On my receipt says pickles, with and ‘s’ .so why did I get only 1 slice of a pickle. Is there a an addtl fee for more? This was not ‘White Castle’, where you get one slice of a pickle. I checked my bag and thought maybe there was a small cup of pickles, like Chick-fil-a will do. Nope. The purpose of the pickles was to minimize some of the heat from the Jalapeños. If you are only going to give ‘a slice’ of a pickle, please let your customers knw so they may request a few more slices. . Or if you want to charge extra, that’s fine, but let the customer knw. ( mind you, there isn’t a sign that says you can’t change or alter the burgers) Based on the grease content on the bag of fries, tells me they are probably cooked in a Veg or Corn oil but not properly drained in the fry basket. They ddnt have the listed lemonade drinks, so I picked a peach mango drink. It came in an unmarked plastic single drink container. This has a taste of either Sunny-D or Tampico peach mango drink( or a combination of both) . Otherwise, I would come back for the burger and the burger alone.
Been eating here for 6 years now. Staff is always friendly and remember what I usually order. They also remember my name and always ask about my son when I go in there. The burgers are like homemade burgers thick and juicy not like the big burger places.
A fellow guest fro, Gram's told us about this place, and he was right. Good food, friendly workers, fair price. Ate there twice in 4 days.
Found this hole in the wall gem thanks to other Google reviews, so came back to add mine. GO GET A BURGER. They are absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Loaded with flavor and toppings. Plus the best fries! Very reasonable prices too! Almost too good to be true. So good we had them finished before we thought of a photo. Go in-between meal times if you want to avoid a line!
So glad we found this spot. Loved the atmosphere and the comedic decor. The burgers and fries were awesome along with the music playing inside. The challenge wall was dope! My girls and I loved it and felt it was a great way to end our visit to Tampa!! Thee Burger Spot rocks!
First time there. Great burgers and fries for a reasonable price. Pretty fast service considering how many people behind the counter. Great job on there part. When I decide to get another burger I will bypass all other joints on the 20 minutes from where I live to get to THE BURGER SPOT. I did eat outside in my vehicle cause seating is minimal.
