After seeing Pretzel Haus on Fox 13, we drove about 45 min to try them (take out). $50 later and it went in the trash. The pretzel Cuban and turkey trot filling was extremely salty and the classic pretzels had a yeasty taste. Four people and no one wanted anymore after one bite.
I had the pretzel bits with cheese and bacon. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other things. The staff is friendly everyone said hi and asked how was it.
We absolutely loved this place! The food was awesome!! We will be back soon!!
Great place to enjoy some delicious food in a casual atmosphere. This is just 2 of the items we ordered. All items are made when you order them so it isn’t fast food. It is good food made with pride and it takes time to bake a garlic pretzel loaf stuffed with cheese. It was well worth the wait. We ordered pretzel dogs which were delicious and several different sandwiches. There were 4 of us in our party so it gave us some time to sit and chat, quite a novel idea. They also have Stubborn craft soda, which is delicious and made with cane sugar. The Pretzel Haus is definitely worth the time. We need to support more small, local businesses like this. You can also call ahead and place your order so you don’t have to wait as long once you are there. Stop by and see Jay the manager, he has some great stories and will make you feel like you’re part of the pretzel family. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.
Fresh & Fresh!! Let's start as you walk in and smell the fresh baked (from scratch) unique stuffed pretzel sandwiches, jumbo pretzels, and pretzel desserts. Next, the savory flavorful taste along with their fresh made dip sauces is a true experience. These Pretzel creations can only get better with beer and wine.Without doubt this is to be a new favorite place for Day Trips to/from Tampa Bay! Great place to gather with friends in its quaint, cozy, rustic industrial decor!! Highly recommended!!
Listen, I’m not usually one to post reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. My mom and I decided to stop by on our way back into town and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible, freshly made to order, and you can tell the ingredients are quality. They have craft sodas and when I tell you the Lemon Berry soda tasted like my favorite drink I can only get in Portland, Maine. I was ecstatic. We spent some time chatting with the manager and you can tell the staff there, especially Jay, is very passionate about this restaurant and wants to see it succeed. All friendly people working there, and amazing food, I can’t wait to go back!
I was hoping for an over the top version of Auntie Anne’s pretzels… but i was a bit let down. I would say A for effort, the pretzel is atleast huge for the price you pay & it does come out fresh.. but it’s a very doughy texture & lacks flavor.. I was hoping for an overwhelmingly buttery pretzel and this just didn’t deliver.Giving 3 stars because it is a cute little spot & clean, probably somewhere nice to meet for a lunch meeting or take someone to share as an appetizer. But I don’t think I would ever come back.
Everything came out as ordered. My husband and I could have shared a Cuban... it was delicious. We also tried the Turkey trot and I liked it as well. Broccoli Slaw was good... not overly Creamy. We will be back to try more of the menu.
Pretzel Haus is serving up creations with a creative spin on everything Pretzel - Pretzel Pizza, Pretzel Sandwiches, Stuffed Dessert Pretzels, Pretzel Dogs, Pretzel Bites, Pretzel traditional style. This is a pretzel lovers heaven. The stuffed bacon cheeseburger Pretzel sandwich is a fresh made pretzel filled with lean sirloin burgers, bacon, and colby jack cheese. Served piping hot. The taste is just like a bacon cheeseburger mixed with the texture of pretzel. I found the meat a little too salty and the pretzel to be too thin. This wasn't my favorite. However this could be a favorite for bacon cheeseburger fans who prefer the bacon cheeseburger over the pretzel. The Buffalo Chick stuffed Pretzel is a fresh made pretzel stuffed with crispy chicken spun in buffalo sauce. This sandwich has a good balance of kick from the crispy Buffalo chicken and the doughy texture the pretzel pocket. This was a more delish sandwich of the two I had.The Apple Pie stuffed pretzel is a Pretzel Stuffed with apple pie filling. Topped with caramel drizzle and generous amounts of powdered sugar. This one is a super delicious combination of pretzel and sweet apple pie filling. This one is hard to put down. Once you start, you are hooked.Be ready to wait after you place your order. It took a good 15 minutes for the order to come through. This is not bad rather because your order is baked fresh. I went with Yelp friends so the wait was filled with fun conversations. The interior is pleasantly decorated, clean, and the seatings are comfortable but nothing that stands out.The staff were courteous however for a Saturday early dinner hours, were a little hard to get attention of, as they tended to congregate inside the kitchen.Another big suggestion is to make metal utensils available which would significantly help cut through the stuffed dessert pretzel. Plastics just don't 'cut' it here.I will return to taste their Stuffed Cuban Pretzel and the Nutella stuffed Pretzel.
Great pretzels but eat them fresh. Strange place. A menu that focuses on pretzels and variations thereon. I hope they make it but I have my doubts. If they don't, it won't be due to a lack of quality. I ordered two pretzels to take home and have with some great craft beer. Had the first later that day and it was excellent. It was also very large - too much for one person, or for me anyway. As good as it was, it would probably have been much better warm at the restaurant. I had the second the next day and it was noticeably significantly less fresh. I love warm, soft pretzels. But I want them fresh, warm and with a cold beer. There are places that serve great beer and pretzels. I may visit again but I won't go out of my way. And if I do, I will only buy for immediate consumption.
