Very disappointed. We made a reservation a week ago and was confirmed by text from The Mill. Travelled two hours from Sebring to find they were closed. Never contacted us to let us know. No apology no nothing. There were staff at the restaurant but just told us they were closed. Pretty poor management.
Only a place with the audacity to claim they have the best brunch in Florida could so serially underdeliver. Walking in on its own provides a sensational experience. The environment wafts with the scent of overpriced entrees whose pretense are matched only by their peculiarity. However, the sensational names provide little culinary satisfaction when the food arrives. The strange concoctions reveal themselves for what they are, strange. And in our case, Cold. Stay away. Potatoes drenched in oil. “Over-Medium” eggs cooked beyond repair. Best thing was waffle sausage dish which for some reason, probably unbeknownst to the chef, it worked. Oh and it’s expensive.
We were excited to try this place out as the reviews and photos looked amazing. However, once we got there we were greeted with so so service, inaccurate food order, and an over all disappointing experience. The food when first delivered, looked amazing, but the taste was far from what we expected, especially for the price point. The best part of this place is the decor.
Super nice and friendly service... Drinks do take a little longer thn expected but food was delicious ..that make up for the waiting .....just make sure to order way ahead of time if u like to keep your drinks going ???
The environment is different and the house is very cute. There’s a lot of parking spaces in the back and the service was okay. The devil eggs was very sour and pie was very dried. The menu is very unique and has quite a lot of options. The price is alright, but I wish the food was more flavored and less salty. But overall, good brunch experience and would come back to give it another try.
We went here for Sunday brunch this past weekend with 4 adults and 2 kids under 5 years old. The patio is first come first serve and we were able to get a table outside. The weather was perfect and Jaime (the host) provided excellent customer service along with our waiter Aiden. All the food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast pot pie, but every dish we ordered was phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back.
From the ambiance, relaxing set up and delicious food and drinks I felt in love with this place on my first try and a little upset with myself that I had not come here before. I had a red shrimp salad that I don't remember the name and tried two of their drinks again just remember the explosion of flavors and colors but not names that surpassed my expectations
Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Our waiter Christian was wonderful and knowledgeable. We will be back!
Service was. 5 stars! Food was 3 stars…. The brunch pot pie says it has gravy and bacon, but our had neither. It also included peppers and onions that was not on the menu. We would not have ordered it if we had known. The flavor was meh! There was also not a lot of eggs or sausage in it. Very disappointed in the food. However, my wife got a Sammy with potatoes, the potatoes were the bomb! We saw several others that got the dirty bird Sammy and we will try it next time!
Food isn’t great. Went for brunch on a Sunday around noon. Place was only moderately busy but the parking lot was full. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the deviled eggs, the brunch BLT and the Benedict. The BLT and the Benedict, along with the breakfast potatoes were honestly gross. The deviled eggs were good though: 8/10. Overall I recommend picking another place for brunch. The ambience is mediocre and so is the food.
