We decided to try out the Grind from the reviews and pictures online. We were very disappointed with the food and serve. The lady that took our order was polite. Ordered our food at 11:46am and I had to go to the counter to find out how much longer at 12:28pm. At 12:30 we were told they were an hour behind. Had we been told that when we ordered we would have gone somewhere else. She asked if we wanted our food packed to go. Why would we wait an hour for them to pack it up. We sat there watching people who came in way after us get served and we were still waiting. We finally received our food at 12:38 and our food was not even hot. My husband was hungry and just wanted to eat and leave.I gave my food back I didn’t want to eat warm food after waiting an hour. When I got it back it was still just warm but by now I just wanted to eat and go. We will not be back.My husband ordered a latte. He said the Latte with no sugar - he said it was worse one he’s ever had. I ordered a hot chocolate made with almond milk and whipped cream. When I received my hot hot chocolate it was barely warm I did not enjoy it.For his breakfast my husband ordered the Grown-up Grill Cheese - provolone, smoked Gouda and cheddar cheese on toasted, herb- buttered artisan bread $7.50 added bacon $2.00I can reordered the Avocado Egg Stack - toasted La Segunda Cuban bread brushed with garlic herb butter topped with sliced avocado, scrambled eggs and chopped tomatoes. Served with your choice of fresh cut fruit or herb-seasoned potatoes. $10.9
had an amazing time here. first time and we really enjoyed it. staff is amazing.
Okay, hands down my favorite coffee shop of all time :) I have tried a lot of coffee shops in a lot of different places, and this one is still my top spot! Their staff is the bomb; they are super friendly and remember all of their regular customers! Their menu consists of breakfast served all day, lunch, and a large menu of coffees and teas. I can’t say enough about this place. If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out!
nice patio. great coffee and food
One of the best breakfast places in Tampa! Good coffee & good food! (Usually I get one or the other) Plus they have the best GF bread I’ve ever had- big bonus!
One of the best breakfast places in Tampa. Good, coffee, good food, good service. They have the best GF bread I’ve ever had- large bonus.
Neighborhood cafe, located at Westchase, west Tampa area. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. There is a beautiful communal table inside which I love. I have been here numerous times, and always satisfied. If there is a wait it’s usually short and worth it. Open till 4 pm, weekdays open at 6 am and weekends 7 am. There is a special menu for weekends I. Addition to regular menu. Breakfast and coffee somewhere 10-20$ based on selections.I like Avocado stack ( bread, egg, avocado and diced tomato), and yogurt parfait.Friendly and respectful ownership and great staff. Kudos to Daniel ?? my place to go, have food, relax listen to music and enjoy seeing staff and customers. Rain or shine ?of course. I hope one of these days they will have an item with my name.??
Used to pop in for my salmon bagel on occasion when going to work. A good place for breakfast in or outside weather permitting. They have some ok sandwiches for lunch, like the turkey club. Great coffee, a drive-thru and options for special diets. It can get very busy. As with many other places, they are looking for help.
This place is awesome. Visited 3 times during a recent vacation to Tampa. The breakfast is so fresh and innovative, not like a chain. The hot mess sandwich and breakfast bowl. They are both incredible. For lunch I had the turkey club and it was just great. Here is the thing, not only is the food excellent, but this is a real coffee shop! Not just the typical coffee, but a local coffee shop for Americanos, espresso, lattes, pour over, they have it all. Again, this is not a chain but a true local restaurant and coffee shop. You owe it to yourself to try it! You will not be disappointed!
We are regulars at this locally owned gem, and we love it! The staff is friendly, and the food is consistently the highest quality. The house made chicken salad sandwich is delicious and the turkey cranberry sandwich is also a family favorite. The atmosphere is charming, clean and the owners always go out of their way to make us feel welcome! The Grind is one of our favorite restaurants in Tampa Bay.
