I enjoyed my burger. I really loved the bacon jam with the fries. Service was a but weird, but not bad.
Not sure why we didn't try this place sooner! Since finally trying it out last month we've been back two more times. I love the name (my daughter has a stuffed animal we call Fat Rabbit lol, so that's what actually got my attention). Simple menu with great food (The burgers and wings are my favorites so far, but we haven't had a dud yet). Great beer and drink selection with cool names for the drinks and dishes. And did I mention the service is great (Austin has taken care of us twice and is great!). What sets this place apart for me though is the atmosphere and vibe. Despite the obvious rabbit theme, which is cool on its own, there is a major late 90's early 2000's rock theme also which takes me back to my 20's. I haven't met the owner yet but I love his musical playlist and the really cool posters! There's even a drink called the Gin Blossom. BTW, despite being a bar/pub I have found it to be a kid friendly restaurant as well.
TORN BETWEEN THE BEST CHEF IN TAMPA OR THE BEST WINGS.My boyfriend and I went out to visit the Fat Rabbit lastnight and it was perfect. The head chef Cole came over to ensure that everything was going well and that we were enjoying our meal. Cole is truly one of a kind with amazing hospitality. He suggested the Real McCoy burger and I can still taste it, the combination of different flavors, the texture….. PERFECTION I am not a fan or burgers or wings however this place has a lifetime visitor. The wings were perfectly crisp not too tuff/dry and not too soggy everything was perfect. Brooks was our server and Hannah would check in on us as well from time to time (they were also amazing). This place is a gem and I would love to keep it hidden but others need to know about this place.
I had the Real McCoy. Fantastic and messy. One of the best I've had in awhile. Perfectly cooked egg and burger. My server Liz was excellent. Definitely will be back. Crispy tots too.
We had such a nice time here for a late lunch yesterday. My friend took me here as a surprise lunch. I had the quesadillas and she had a bowl of some kind. Mine was very good and she said hers was as well. Liz was our server and she took excellent care of us. We ordered sangria and she made it just has we requested. It was very tasty. We were catching up and have lots to talk about and we were not rushed at all. It was a very nice time. The photo I have attached is one I took of a gentleman sitting at the bar and with the background mergers that look like he had Easter bunny ears. I went up and asked him if he could take a joke and he said he could so I showed him the picture. We both had a good laugh. He was a great sport. I wish him a happy Easter and left him to enjoy his silence
We are in town for my daughter’s gymnastics meet and not familiar with the area. My husband found The Fat Rabbit on the map and we sprung for it. Hands down best food in A LONG time!!! The burgers were perfectly cooked and absolutely delectable. I got the Irishman and it was sweet, savory, and just the right amount of bite from the arugula. The sweet potato fries added the best crunch on the side. I am gluten free so opted for no bun. My husband had a traditional cheeseburger and daughter had chicken sliders. The atmosphere was great, very comfortable and light hearted.
The wings were good and the cocktails were great! Best Peanut Butter Old Fashioned ? Great service and atmosphere!
Ordered the slider flight appetizer. Chicken sandwich was the best, pork sandwich was good and burger was burger. For an entree got the buffalo rice bowl. Very delicious would definitely order again. For an entree we also got 5 Daytona wings + 5 fat rabbit wings. Both were great! :) If possible overall would give a 4.5 rating.
Nice welcoming pub environment with anthropomorphic rabbits scattered about (at least in the corner I was sitting in). Lots of beverages to choose from. Staff was friendly. Seating was comfortable. Not too crowded for noon on a Saturday. Felt comfortable bringing the kids here, and there were other kids as well (although no specific kids menu as far as I could tell). One drink and food for a family of five pre-tip ran about $75. There were only two servers working the whole place, so they were extremely busy. Anyhow, soft pretzel was great, G&B salad with some blackened chicken was delicious, and the kids loved the simple order of tater tots.
As we were looking for a brewery in Tampa opened past midnight, we saw this in our Google search. It is not a brewery, but a really great pub and restaurant. We had very nice time drinking some cocktails, some brews on tap from breweries in the area, and good handheld food. I recommend thus place for an after a show or movie night out. Staff was very nice and attentive.
