Cuban restaurant owned and operated by older white folks that discriminate against younger people and minorities. My husband and I look like early 20s… although we are 30… we are both minorities.. we came in and just ordered 2 sandwiches. 2 tables came in after us, (both parties of 3, and both older white folks) they got their orders in after us… yet their food came out before ours... This older white lady server prioritized those older white people. We waited over 40 mins… while she was very attentive to the older white folks that came after us.My money is just as good as these peoples. I went up to the counter and the man said “well it depends what you ordered” Sir, I ordered meat between bread…. Funny how it took less time for those older white folks sandwiches and hot plates to come out than our 2 sandwiches. (Both larger parties too) I was a server for 6 years, I know what your server was doing. I had to stand at the counter, tell them I was a nurse and convince them I was worthy of the same respect. I never got an apology.
My family comes here every Monday for lunch. We always order a couple Roast Pork sandwiches and have NEVER been disappointed! We call ahead and by the time we're there, our sandwiches are ready. Hot, fresh, and mouthwatering juicy pork. I've tried other spots nearby for the same sandwich & there's zero comparison. We only buy ours here!!!
My daddy used to take me here when I was a little girl. I am 55 now and I still frequent this restaurant. The food is amazing and while other food places seem to be giving less for more money, they are still giving the same great food and it isn’t shrinking. In fact the devil crabs are even better than before. If you want excellent food for a great price, this is where you want to eat!

Sorry to say after many years of putting up with mistakes made over and over again on sandwich making with this place I will not return. When i request a sandwich and say no tomato no salami no pickle no mustard, I think that is pretty clear....I got the sandwich WITH tomato and no lettuce and no mayo....requested a credit, got hung up on 3 times....done
This is their deviled crab and stuffed potato. I love this two dishes, however, I just had them delivered and they have literally made me sick to my stomach. Don't know if it's a bad batch, but I had to throw my entire meal away.
This restaurant and staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience the best, even when they have difficult and rude customers. Was recently at the restaurant where a person complained about every little thing even going so far as to exaggerate complaints. The staff continued to provide courteous service and handle this person with professionalism. Above and beyond. I would say come in and experience for yourself! Our experience with the restaurant food and staff was excellent. What diminished the experience was the rude and overbearing customer we had the misfortune of sitting next to -she should not eat out ever!!!

This was such a great choice for Cuban food and the sopa de gallego was delicious. Great service and great food.
Yes the food is awesome love those breakfast sandwiches, but it's a problem everytime I go there to purchase a to go order. I asked for the manager a the young lady said she was the manager and I explained to her that I had been waiting for thirty minutes watching people that came after me get there food and leave. I guess ethics are not for this establishment, so I asked for her supervisor and she's says he's in the KEYS. Does he really know how his establishment is being conducted and how this so called manager talk to people of color, yes that's howshe madame feel, "DO YOU WANT THE SANDWICHES OR NOT" REALLY CHICK YOU HAVE LOST YOUR MIND.HAD AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE TO WHEN I VISITED THIS ESTABLISHMENT TODAY (1/12/22), I HAD PREVIOUSLY MET UP WITH THE OWNER AND HIS ATTITUDE WAS PLEASANT, ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTFUL PERSON I'VE MET. THE FOOD WAS AWESOME AGAIN AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS FRIENDLY.THANKS FOR MAKING FEEL WELCOME AND MY EXPERIENCE A PLEASANT ONE.
