Excellent service, attention and quality. I recommend you try the cake called Mil Hojas. The best I've eaten in years.
The best cake pops in the whole Tampa Bay Area. I tried other bakeries and none of them were anything close to here! minus 1 star for so-so service and the other pastries aren’t so great. Despite that, the cake and cake pops are amazing !

When we came to pick up my cake there was a mix up with my phone order and luckily for me the chef was there to make it right. While we waited, we were treated to a tasting of other delicious goodies. The cakes are fantastic. Once you taste a desert from here, you will be disappointed when eating any one else's. This place is five star.
Sighs....where to begin. The experience for my wedding due to the famous cake story which all of my guests know by now. There seems it was a sort of miscommunication that happened initially when I ordered the cake. From what I understood I thought they asked what time my wedding event was for and I said 4:30pm....fast forward to the wedding day I arrived at 2:30 to pick up the cake....the cake was not done....I tried not to panic as she was telling me that she put 4:30 for the cake to be picked up! My wedding started at 4:30pm!!! Ok let's leave that behind...I wanted a quick solution going forward...I asked can it be 4:00pm she didn't guaranteed to that...why at 4:30 they were still decorating it? Knowing fully well it's a wedding cake not just a regular cake....something where they should have it done at least way before like 2 hours just in case they come early or something can go wrong doing the cake...they literally did not have the cake done by 4:30pm. The cake should had been done and at least in the refrigerator at least 2 hours for it to be cool....instead they gave it not cooled in a square box all open and exposed. Not profesional what so ever and worst is that we had a wedding on a cruise boat...they literally had to hold the boat for and hour plus due to the cake not arriving and my guests were all wondering what happened and what was taking so long. Every bride's nightmare! Do not recommend what so ever! The cake was a whopping $420 3 tier cake in which it was so small let me know every get started. Nightmare for sure!
I just had an elegant affair with one of their custom tiered cakes and it was the worst cake I've ever had in my life. Yet the samples that I had at the shop were amazing so I don't understand. The cake was extremely dry and poor tasting as it were sitting in the freezer forever. They have let us down on this special occasion and I can't turn back time. ☹?
Very, very bad experience. The cake we got was extremely bad - it was rubbery and chewy, the decor was the wrong color, and the icing was too sweet, and on top of that, it was expensive. We ordered the cake for my daughter’s birthday, and this has ruined the party. Never going to order cake from them again.
We ordered a cake that we were charged $60.19 for and the first picture is of the way we wanted the cake and the second picture is what we received and I paid in advance. We texted the picture of what we wanted to her then my wife talked to the cake decorator after sending her the picture and the decorator agree’d she could do the Mickey cake. I wouldn’t recommend this place to make a cup cake. The last picture is what my 14 year old step son did to fix the cake for his little brother because he was so upset about how terrible the cake we paid $60.19 for. What kind of cake decorator writes the Happy Birthday greeting on the cake plate? We asked for a 1/2 sheet and when does a 1/2 sheet cake come as a cylinder and not a rectangle? I believe The Cake Shop should talk to my step Son and see if he wants to come save their business and come to work for them. If you’re looking for a quality cake and want to be satisfied don’t waste your time or money at The Cake Shop! Please comment on my step Son’s cake and let him know what you think of his cake?
Everything is very, very good. I especially like the chocolate raspberry cake and the lemon cake. I've tried most over time and there all excellent. Another favorite is the creme Brule, but it's hit and miss on availability.
