Ordered this "Rocky Patel Number 6" cigar cake for my husband's 50th birthday from Cake Girl and they did not disappoint!! From start to finish they were top notch professionals! The cake was as delicious as it was amazing looking!! Everyone loved it! Thank you Cake Girl!!
Kirby and the Cake Girl did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Kirby took the time to explain all the details we needed to know when ordering a wedding cake. He was very helpful. We had a shipping issue with out cake testing (could not go into bakery due to covid) and they fixed it immediately at no charge. The cake was the best taking and moist cake we tried during wedding cake testing. We went with one layer of the lemon cake with raspberry filling, chocolate with chocolate cream, and almond cake with raspberry filling. We paid for the delivery service and it arrived safely and in perfect condition. We order the extra layer for our one year anniversary but ate it every day until we left for our honeymoon. We will need to order a new one for our one year anniversary. We loved the customer service at the Cake Girl and highly recommend them for your wedding. I did think the wedding cake was costly but that seems to be at every bakery. The intricate design that we picked and the taste of the cake flavors were worth it! It was perfect for our all black and white wedding. My husband picked out the design and Kirby executed it exactly like the picture we sent. Thank you, Cake Girl!

They were our HEROs for pur wedding cake vendor The Cake Girl in Tampa — the week before the wedding we had our original cake vendor cancel our cake on us out of the blue and we’re were left scrambling and so so stressed…. Kirby from The Cake Girl and their team were able to step in to save the day- and it was the epitome of “blessing in disguise” because we ended up having the most BEAUTIFUL cake that Kirby worked with and upgraded our original design and made it look so much better, and the combination of flavors we had of cinnamon roll and chocolate raspberry they were able to do and it was absolutely delicious!! Kirby and the cake girl team were absolutely incredible to work with, and if you need a cake for any event in your life I highly recommend The Cake Girl bakery in Tampa!! Our guests loved it!!! They will not disappoint. Thank you for saving and making our beautiful cake! I will definitely be a returning customer for any other special cake needs!
I am not sure where to begin. I emailed a picture hoping and praying that I could get this cake made for my son's graduation party. I literally had two weeks to get this cake in time for the party. Not only did they find a way to replicate the cake, they also made deserts to match the theme. Their delivery service was attentive and helped to get the cake in the right spot on our desert table. Every thing was delicious. Pro tip, get the delivery service. They know how to get your cake there safe. The price was reasonable for our last minute request. I will be using them on all future orders.
The Cake Girl made us an amazing rice crispy treat wedding cake! The middle layer is almond cake with guava filling, and it was divine. I cannot recommend them enough for being open to whatever design and inspiration you have. They were so excited to do rice crispy treats for us. The rice crispy treats were a big hit with the guests, and definitely the favorite of the bride and groom. <3
What a fantastic experience working with Kirby on my cake. The design colors matched my flowers perfectly and most of all the white cake with Key lime center and raspberry center, was amazing! Everyone commented on how good it was. Thank you so much for taking care of us on our special day!
We used the Cake Girl for our wedding cake on 5/22/22. It was so tasty, and the team went above and beyond to deliver us a custom design proposed by my husband. We are huge nature buffs, and he had some unique design elements he wanted to include (from blue gelatin to represent the water, to a pair of horseshoe crabs, to a mangrove tree). The team did an excellent job of helping us to merge our vision with our budget, and the finished product was one-of-a-kind, beautiful, AND delicious!! The Cake Girl saved my wedding! They were able to accommodate our wedding with a short amount of time. Kirby was so professional and even made sure a certain flavor we were looking for was ready for us to taste in the shop! We wanted a simple cake with lots of cupcakes and they made it happen. The bottom of the cake was Alotta Colada and the top was Key Lime, both were a hit! We decided on 4 different flavors for the cupcakes; Twix, Carrot Cake, Frosted Animal Cookie, and German Chocolate. It was all so good! We had leftovers for our next day BBQ. Thank you Cake Girl, finding you made me less stressed out about a cake vendor! I will absolutely be ordering our anniversary cake from you and recommend you to everyone!
The cake was too pretty to eat, the cake was moist and delicious. Thank you again for making such a delicious cake and making my baby super happy and excited about her. Will certainly order cake again.
I had never ordered a cake before. And the prospect of waiting 4-5 days potentially between communication emails because they are so busy was a bit daunting. But they got my order in and the details squared away quickly. And the cake was ready just right on time and beautiful !!!! the guests loved both how pretty it was and also how tasty it was. thank you
