Great place to visit before or after catching a movie next door. Great comfort food, specials and happy hours. I got the grouper sandwich with fries $15 and my wife the 1/2 lb. Joe's Burger $11. Not bad for big portions. Service was good as usual.
A fine establishment. Food and drinks are affordable! I was satisfied and Gigi was phenomenal, I enjoyed her service. It seemed she was doing 50 jobs at once, but she did a great job of checking on us. Please give her a raise!! Will be back :)
We visited Tampa Joes for the first time today, to get a bite before our movie. We were greeted by very friendly folks that were in the bar area and was promptly seated. Our server Travaris was great! He was very attentive and very kind. We got a Bavarian pretzel for an app and this thing was HUGE!! My kid was shocked when she saw it!! I got a Caesar salad and added crispy chicken to it. The salad and the chicken portions were gigantic! The romaine lettuce was fresh, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the dressing was very tasty. My husband got a burger and fries and said it was as delicious as it looked. We are now at a point to start going to the movies more often and will definitely be back to eat at Tampa Joes!
A random visit led to coming back twice in the same week! Portions are excellent, and the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer is to die for. All in all, a solid choice for after or before a movie at the AMC, or anytime! ♡
The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the server was cool.1. Wanted to get the Bavarian Pretzel app, didn't have it.2. The pizza we got was terrible. It had way too much cheese and was soggy. Avoid it.3. Buddy wanted apple crisp, didn't have it.4. Took quite awhile to just get our drink orders placed. Around 10 minutes of just sitting there.
Heather was our server, she was in the bar area.I can't remember The last time we had such efficient service from a waitress since before covid. Heather was brilliant, attentive, our drinks never ran empty. She came back to check on us a few times, and was easy to talk to you and have a conversation with.I'll tell you since restaurants reopen dining areas, it's hard to find a great waiter or waitress because half the time the people are either just hired or have no interest in doing their job. This was not the case with Heather.We ordered the key West shrimp, I got the steak and mushroom flatbread but the side of ranch, and he got the ribs with onion rings. All good!If you have a chance to go to Tampa Joe's, ask for Heather she's amazing!

First time here in several months and nice to see that they renovated inside. While it didn’t look bad previously, it definitely has a more modern and clean look now. They have a separate bar/lounge area from the restaurant as well as ample outdoor seating that is covered. Their menu has a little bit of everything but we usually stick to their pizza and wings. The location makes it an ideal place to grab a bite to eat before seeing a movie.Only reason I took off a star was because service was a little slow, however it was not because of our server. She was very friendly and as attentive as possible, but it seemed like she was stretched thin between multiple tables. For a Friday evening, I would’ve expected there to be more servers available.
Went to this place before catching a movie and it wasn’t bad at all. Had the quesadillas and the fish tacos.Tacos - fish was perfectly breaded and fried. Fantastic taste and just the right amount.Quesadillas - they were loaded up and super tasteful. Sauce that came with it was really good.Sweet potato fries - they give mini boats of them. Easily enough to share for two. Loved them.Give this place a try if you’re around the area.
Our first time here, but we'll be back. Server was attentive, food was good and prices were reasonable.
