Walked in at 8:25, restaurant closes at 9:00 and l was told I would not be served because they’re closing because business was slow and they cleaned for the night already. I’ve been in customer service for many years and this is completely unprofessional. Maybe they would be busier if they provided better service. Will definitely not be back.
I love this place for quick Mexican ? food items. All types of taco ? ? items are available. You can place the order and just roam around the shop and your order will be ready by that time, large space in and around the sides of the shop and very clean and neat each and every dining table. You can sit inside or outside the shop and eat., take away also available., don't forget to take the spicy ? space if you like it more spicy.
Just no. They have a bell door and I was waiting there for 5 minutes. Left. Came back. Waited for 2 minutes. Some lady came out and looked at me funky and let me know someone was coming. That someone came and did not present themselves well no greeting nothing. I got 2 steak tacos and they were okay. The tortilla was dry/stale and the steak had a funky flavor. My girls devour tacos. Real tacos and they barely ate this.
Never thought I would see myself going to a Taco Bus everyday for lunch but this is the place I literally visit every day and know everyone on a first-name basis. You know this place has great employees when they get upset for you not calling your order ahead when they are always busy during lunch. I just tell them it's okay I'd rather enjoy interacting with you all because everyone is a joy to be around whether I need Mexican food every day or not LOL these people bring me back for more can't say enough about everyone that helps run this but but y'all keep the wheels going for sure keep it up. The food was delicious but 3 of our 4 meals were wrong and for some reason the family that ordered after us got their food 10 minutes before ours came out. While we were there several other customers went back up to the counter to get mistakes in their orders straightened out. Not sure if the staff were new or if this is normal.I recommend getting the cashier to read back your order before you pay because we got what was on the order, but it wasn't what we asked for and your ticket does not list your order, just your number.
The food ain't bad but the prices are ridiculous. On top of that the woman at the counter has an attitude when she takes your order not great service at all, won't be going back here again.
Walked in she said out of empanadas out of corn tortillas 20min wait you should go somewhere else! Nice doing business with you!
The woman behind the counter was super nice even though she was super short staffed. We expected a long wait but we’re surprised to get our order within 10min. Best taco salad I’ve ever had and my husband ordered the marinated pork twin taco (something like that) which he devoured in 5 min. Also had churros, and was delish! Highly recommend!
I'm in Tampa for work and passed the Taco Bus in Brandon last night. I mentioned I might go tonight to people in the office and it was all positive. They were right. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The fish tacos were great. I asked to add rice & beans after I'd ordered the tacos and they were so accommodating. Super pleased I tried this place and recommend it very much!
I've been a regular at this Taco Bus location for a few years now. The food is perfect, I always get the shredded chicken tacos. The sopapillas are my FAVORITE though, don't skip dessert if you're coming here for the first time, or second, or third. Everyone is always nice and professional here, and I love that the big Bus is right in the front of the restaurant.
