Sushi Cafe is a little bit of drive to get to however it's worth it. Today they had the freshest White fish sushi I have had it was so delicious and flavorful. I had the sashimi platter and my date had the sushi platter it is a lunch special highly recommended. I also appreciate having jasmine tea not just green tea. Fantastic service by The waitresses they kept checking on us. The only cons would be I would have deeper soy balls because the soy would easily come out and spill all over the table. A little more room to sit down inside the seats would be nice they're all kind of crammed together. Parking is not the best there's a lot of businesses here. Other than that the chef did his job and the waitresses did their job so I am looking forward to coming back it was delicious
I've been coming to Sushi Cafe for the past decade since moving to New Tampa. Hands down, the best sushi in New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. I've been to every sushi joint nearby, and this remains to be my favorite one. First off, their fish tastes great. The salmon and tuna is incredibly flavorful. Secondly, the menu is extremely affordable, especially at lunch time. In addition to sashimi and sushi, Sushi Cafe offers multiple hot dishes as well. You can get generous portions of hibachi or katsu.For appetizers, I highly recommend the salmon skin salad or agedashi tofu.In terms of service, I've never had a negative experience here. The servers are all really friendly and sweet.
I usually have a good experience with this place but I had to comment after today's order. My bagel roll was missing the cream cheese, which is 1 of only 3 fillings. When I ate a piece of the Pacific fusion roll(chopped spicy tuna and other stuff) I bit down on several fish scales. Pretty annoying and unsettling which is a bummer because I this has been my go to spot. Hopefully just a fluke but I think I'll start looking for another place.
I come to Tampa from Ohio fairly often for work. This place is one of my go to places when I am in town. I have never been disappointed.
Ordered to-go on Xmas evening and came into the establishment to pick up order *before* a rush of customers started coming in. 40 minutes from initially calling in, I kindly asked how my order was coming along....and again, 5 minutes later....and again, 5 minutes later, and again 5 minutes later. During this time, I'm watching the staff having totally lost control of all the orders and getting paid customers out of the door. No one can clearly communicate to me the hold up aside from saying "let me check" and walking to the back. Lines of customers at this point start going out of the door. At about 1 hour from calling in my order, I was finally handed my order. At the dinner table and the family was ready to chow down, every single item was ice cold and to add insult to injury, the incompetent staff placed the wrong California sushi roll in the to-go bag when I order Teriyaki chicken. Never coming back.
Sushi is good and affordable. Unfortunately, service is very slow. Waitresses prioritize online orders, so it takes some time to get a table and to take care of sitting people orders, making everything too slow.
The sushi is always fresh and flavorful. The portions for the hibachi entrees are gigantic, and also delicious. All of the staff is friendly and helpful.
I went there for dinner tonight. I have gone there two years back n I can remember I loved the food. Today also food was awesome. I highly recommend this place for Sushi lovers. Rolls are so fresh … You will definitely have a good service too …
Mixed feelings. The sushi regular dinner was $20.00. It was a great deal. The rocky mountain roll for $15.00 was a rip off. It was a rainbow roll ($10.00... and nothing more than a California rolls really) with about 1 tablespoon of fake shredded crabmeat. So $5.00 for 15 grams of surimi.I was told over the phone the California rolls were $13 each! Thank God when I got there the bill was already adjusted to $5.00 each.
Nina was spectacular! My dear friend and I walked in late late on Saturday night and Nina greeted us as a server with full valor and congeniality. I had a weird request and she was able to not only deliver personal recommendation but great care and helping me find what suited my dietary needs. I highly recommend the restaurant for its ramen and atmosphere. I’ll be back!
