They were out of pickles,pickles that they generally use were were what made the hamburger so tasty. Also they used diced up onions that made the burger taste different. Sort of cheapened the quality of the steak and shake hamburger quality. Just as soon went to McDonald's it would have been cheaper and Ben just as good

This by far is the worst steak and shake location, primarily due to the drive thru lady not paying any attention to my order. I ordered 5 items. 4 of them were completely incorrect. I returned and got the correct order, only to find that it was made incorrectly. Late night drive through lady needs to really pay attention to their customers. I swear it genuinely seemed like she was on some drugs or something. Whatever. I don’t even have the care to reach out to this location, it’s not even worth my time.All I can say is steer clear of drive thru at night.

Currently running with a new crew led by a motivated manager. At least for the night shift to close that I know of. Awesome attitude and swift service from this crew. Would gladly eat here anytime. Keep up the good work guys ???

Service was poor and charged us for a extra meal that we didn't have. The cashier clearly didn't what she was doing on top of having an attitude when we wanted a refund. Fries was cold and burger was meh. I like steak n shake but this one is very bad. Only good thing was the shake but it's hare to mess up ice cream. Will never got here again

I don't give 5 stars only because this store have only one touch screen available and no face to face order with a real person....and don't tell me it's because covid normative for non-contact service in store, I don't see nobody disinfecting the touch screen after each customer. The food is tasty and fresh, the service is wonderful and the working staff is friendly and fast. ?

Horrible wait times. Deplorable customer service. Inept management. One of the worst experiences ever. Was met with argument and negative feedback when i merely mentioned it. I returned the food at the drive-thru server's suggestion, only to be told they were incapable of refunding my debit card the $15.11 I'd spent. After requesting a Manager, she said she couldn't issue a cash refund. Consequently, I asked to have the food that I'd paid for. She answered, "You had the food and didn't want it," seemingly oblivious to the fact it was returned IN EXPECTATION of a full refund. Finally, mgr suggested I go through "corporate," this was problematic for me as they have a sign posted outside that reads, "Independently Owned and Operated." As it now stands, I was robbed.

The worst experience at a steak and shake. The place was dirty and smelled old. The cooks weren't wearing hair nets which resulted in a hair on my burger. No remarks from a manger or apology. If I hadn't been hungry I would have walked out. Couldn't get a shake...was told they were watery. Please save your money and go somewhere else. If not then you deserve what you get. Disgusted that I put myself thru the agony of settling for filth while I ate.

Recent visit, its now a self serve, no table service. You order on a machine and pay the machine. Staff were totally uninterested in the customers. Took a long time, the burgers have changed, and not for the better. They had not gotten around to making the chili (it was after noon). After the burger, I was very glad there was no chili. Horrible experience.

arrived apprx 4 p.m. order taken at 4:20. another 20-minute wait at the window; truck behind me drove away, car drivers blew their horns. no less than 3 employees visible in the service window throughout. one young lady held a cell phone as they engaged in conversation. there were no drink carriers available for the soda and two shakes i'd ordered. when i calmly mentioned the unreasonable wait time employee answered, "Do you want your money back because I don't have time for this." i asked for the manager who eventually said they were unable to credit my debit card. told me, "You'll need to go through corporate; the computer won't let me refund the money." this was a problem for me as there's a sign outside which reads, "Independently and Locally Owned. at this point i'm down $15 plus.
