Love their $4 meals. While not the fastest place for food, it is still one of the tastiest and better priced. Plus the only thing open late at night that's not tacos! Love their app, too!
This location has gone down hill since covid. They have no one taking orders at the counter only kiosk. The kiosk doesnt take cash. When we asked for help we were greeted very rudely by a worker that gave us attitude and said that we needed to ask for help, which is what we were doing. They're constantly out of items. And mix up orders or forget things. I will never be going back to this steak and shake. And let's not forget that on another occasion while there with my 9year old there was a high-school kid rolling joints at his table out in the open and the workers just kept walking by not saying anything. ?
I order curbside pick up and had to wait about 15 minutes for my food. Food was cold and there were no napkins or or a spoon for the kids applesauce. The milkshake was overfilled and spilled out everywhere again I didn't have napkins to clean up the mess. Also no ketchup packets for the fries. I was very disappointed in the lack of attention given to my order.
I like steak and shake. Admittedly I haven't been in a long time because they weren't allowing inside dining. This location is seemingly clean for a fast food style restaurant. The "service" model is very different now so be prepared to order from a kiosk and have your name called when any part of your order is ready. My daughter had the grilled cheese and it looked good. Her fries were crispy and hot. I haven't had the chili 5 way in so long I can remember if it tastes different or not. In my mind it tastes way different, but perhaps it's because I've had that dish elsewhere when traveling. It was ok. Nothing great, but not terrible. The base of the sauce almost tastes like BBQ sauce which threw me off. They don't have tobasco sauce so bring your own. Overall I'll go back because my daughter loves the milkshakes and the burgers are pretty good.
First time going to a Steak n Shake. For $6.79 I got a double steakburger, fries, and a drink. Burger was pretty good actually and I'd go with the double again instead of a single patty. I'd probably get 2 burgers next time and skip the fries which were really thin and below average when compared with other fast food fries.
Always awesome. Always fresh. Sure, the drive thru takes time, but it's because everything was made to order. Only issue I had was that our fries were only half full. But everything else was stellar!
Terrific good. Seriously it was great, the classic burger plus fries and shake. It's been awhile since I've visited and have no regrets today!

You all were so kind, helpful to serve our Access students at Plant High School, they love the milk shakes and the food is awesome but the service to our kids was exceptional, thank you : )
Overall the burgers are good. But the workers are trash and all kids. The has never been cleaned the owner doesn’t care. The only thing he cares about is sleeping with his employees who are barely legal. This location never have anything they pass the food out in brown bags. The owner doesn’t know what he is doing and this store will fail. The management team as a whole is trash and full of drama something needs to be done about this location.
The drive-thru team provided polite and thoughtful customer service with a smile. The respect shown was greatly appreciated. The speed and accuracy of my family’s order was executed well.
