What happened to the American work ethic of taking pride in our work? What has happened to the stellar Starbucks image which started the whole coffee house craze decades ago? Starbucks seems to have gotten lazy, thinking that prior success and popularity makes them exempt from keeping professional standards . This location looked like a warehouse . Boxes were stacked everywhere , the pastry case was empty with shelves shoved inside . Empty boxes lined the wooden shelves over the counter . It was only 9:00 in the morning yet the trash can was overflowing with trash onto the floor. The tables were dirty . I’m embarrassed for Starbucks that this is the impression visitors will have . Please Starbucks..aesthetics and atmosphere matter , that’s why people go to coffee houses !
The employees working around 8pm on May 26th were all very kind! Our drinks wereade pretty quickly given how busy the drive thru was, and they were delicious! Also, I love that Starbucks is using reusable cups again, it made us switch over from Dunkin. I appreciate the company having some what of a conscious abt the plastic they produce!
Staff has no communication, lack of training, there are long wait times. I waited 20+ minutes for and iced latte and a water... I watched a barista mess up and pour out 4 different drinks in that time. Multiple people ahead of me had messed up orders. There seems to be no supervisor. It seems this location needs alot more experience to support the amount of traffic they get.
I understand they're short-staffed here.This location has a problem with cleanliness.With students always coming in and out from South Florida University, there should be someone wiping down tables and computer stands every hour, they are always dirty as well as the windows, they are hazy with water marks.No soap in both bathrooms. Not good. You run out of hand soap in the bathroom and a customer informs you about it, it should be a priority to replenish.
This starbucks is amazing and to all the people saying it runs slow, there are only two people on bar making 40+ drinks in a time span of 20 minutes. They give their new partners chances at different positions so they can teach them so every partner is well rounded. If you’re going to work and only have 15 minutes until you’re late don’t go to the busiest location in tampa. There is only so much 6-7 workers can do. Thank you to all the customers who understand and for your patience.
The WORST Starbucks I have ever been to! It is convenient to my office, but after more than a few bad experiences, will not go back. Out of butter!!? And sometimes out of cream cheese for bagels. SLOW service. It seems they can only handle one order at a time in the drive thru. They even have an employee standing outside taking orders and wasting a lot of time. UGH! Starbucks should be shamed to have a store like this open. Plenty more options out there for good cup of coffee.
OMG. This is one of the busiest Starbucks I have ever visited. Not only was the line wrapped around the building, it was down the street as well. I decided to go in and it was super crowded inside well which explains the long wait time. I believe this one is near a college campus so perhaps this is the reason. Staff was super friendly and helpful but the drink was not very good. The atmosphere inside was very nice and I can see why a lot of people like this particular spot. However they were out of my favorite sandwich and again the drink was horrible and it was a remake. Disappointing.
Usually I love this Starbucks in Bruce B Downs & visit it before work. The last 3 mochas have tasted like hot water. I actually went in and spoke to someone and one of the workers came up and told her the new pump is only delivering “about half a pump now.” They gave me a new drink and it was fine. Was in a hurry next day..went through drive through and got the same weak drink as before. Hope you guys fix this for us!
If i could give 0 stars I would’ve. I am probably one of the most consistent visitors of not only this location but Starbucks as a company, and this Starbucks falls way short of the standards that Starbucks should hold it to. Service is INSANELY slow, like 25 min for a iced coffee THATS PRE BREWED ALREADY, slow. The staff moves so slow they wouldn’t hurry if the building was on fire. Never again. I’d drive across the globe to go to a different Starbucks.
