They have limited halal menu but it’s definitely worth it. Food was delicious and big portions. Server was super friendly. Will go again to try more dishes. ?P.S. Please add more halal dishes

First time here and i was very impressed, this restaurant is real unique Korean cuisine and is very authentic. I really enjoyed my food, everything was delicious and the service was on point.

Enjoyed Mother’s Day at Soul of Korea today! I haven’t been here a long time but I will say this is NOW my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay! I ordered Korean BQ beed short ribs, spicy squid, spicy beef short rib soup, fried squid & vegetables, bi-bim-bop (mixed rice bowl), and fried rice.I was impressed with how thing the meat cuts were from the short ribs to the squid! Very generous and well worth the price. This is now my go to for Korean food!

Soul of Korea deserves a standing ovation ? Coming here every week for lunch this past year has given me a true meaning of Korean experience. The food is AMAZING ?And the service and staff are priceless. They are always warm and welcoming Thank you for spoiling me with deliciousness!~D'SILVA

Not a ton of Korean restaurants in the Tampa/St. Pete area, so we had to search hard for this one. While this does not compare to Korean hotspots like NY, LA, etc.; Soul of Korea is an adequate representation of Korean cuisine. The food is decent. We ordered kimchi jaeyook (kimchi & spicy pork stir fry). It was a little heavy on the kimchi and light on the meat. Kimbap was good, too. My wife's kimchi jigae (kimchi stew)'s flavor was a little off. Everything was overpriced, but there aren't much alternatives if you want to pay less. High marks to our server. She was very delightful, thoughtful towards our children, and amply refilling our banchan (sides). I would have given SoK 3 stars, but she elevated my review to a 4.

I loved this place. The people were wonderful, our food was delicious and the array of tiny dishes of pickled vegetables made my mouth and belly just happy as hell. Honestly, I was a bit worried when we pulled up, but the minute I walked in the door, I knew I would be happy. It was late night, close to closing time but they welcomed us in and took great care of us. I will go back!! Sorry no photos of food, we were both so hungry, we jumped right into eating. It was so yummy, I never thought about my camera.

Halal Korean! The chicken wings, spicy beef broth and the beef short ribs were all good. The service was really homey and nice. We even got to try some Korean soft drinks and it was all very cute and unique. You should come here. We went for ice cream after at the Revolution Ice Cream Company if you are looking for dessert options.

First off the service was fantastic! The food was even better! Flavorful, fresh and very appetizing options. The meats were tender and packed with so much flavor. There is space between the tables for social distancing but the music selection had us singing right along. This little spot is a must try!

First time here-A bit slow but the kind and friendly service made up for it.I had the galbi (grilled short ribs) which was good, but not the best I’ve had in the area. The banchan was plentiful with six separate items. That said kimchi had a strong fish sauce taste that didn’t appeal to me. However, I really enjoyed the marinated eggplant. All in all, with my limited experience with the menu, I would return. However, I still have to say that Marjao Korean BBQ in Clearwater is by far my favorite for Galbi and their banchan.

Absolutely loved this establishment. The staff was so welcoming, our freshly made lunch came out quickly. I got the chicken bulgogi lunch box and hubby got kanpunggi, boneless chicken pieces (bite sized) fried with a sweet&spicy sauce. Large servings (he had enough for lunch the next day) (and truthfully, so did I although a smaller amount! LOL). The banchan included my favorite, beansprouts and kimchi. I can't wait to return.
