Should get a reservation if you can. Was an hour wait but we got lucky 2 people got up from the bar so we got to sit there. The quality of sushi was amazing. Very tasteful and fresh! Highly recommend this place for sushi.
I wouldn't say this place is an actual three but more like a 2.7. The sangria was good. But the sushi was average sushi at best. The pork belly buns were okay The pork belly was more on the tougher side. Didn't really melt in your mouth like I'm used to.The sushi rolls could have been rolled a little bit better. Just overall quality wasn't what I'm used to from other sushi establishments I've been to. But if you want a cheap sushi dinner and some different takes on rolls come here.
I used to come here very often, most of the time I never really had an issue and I always had fast service. There’s a lot of sushi options and the fried ice cream is top-tier, And the men working at the sushi bar are very attentive. However, the last time I visited Soho sushi I was really let down and it’s put me off from coming in here again. I had come here for a date a few weeks ago and had a spot reserved for the sushi bar specifically. However, upon arrival, we were ordered to wait another 15 minutes because the hostess and staff did not want to move the customers that had already paid for their meal. We were super irritated, so when we went to sit down I asked the manager if she could somehow compensate us the inconvenience. I used to serve at a five star steakhouse and have several years of restaurant experience so I’m used to this not being an issue. She proceeded to act like it was an issue and said that she “needed” to call upper management. Extremely weird. We were sipping water and waiting around for another 15 minutes while our server kept coming back and asked if we wanted to order drinks. I told her we couldn’t order drinks until her manager came back and obviously she wasn’t planning to visit us again. We ended up having to go to a sushi restaurant close by we were already starving…Which thankfully saved the night. I’m not sure if I want to come back here, but I really miss the food and the ambience. I hope that somehow this incompetence can be fixed and that this doesn’t happen again to another hungry customer.

Second time at this place and it does not disappoint. Our family loves it and they invite us each time we visit. Very good about special requests and the menu is extensive! Definitely recommend. NOTE: Parking is a nightmare here. Suggest taking an uber
Soho Sushi is the best place around for sushi! Their sushi is so fresh and they have some very inventive types of rolls. They always have great specials or something new to try! I love everything about this place. It's a cute little restaurant if you're dining in but the food tastes just as good if you're getting take-out.
Fast service, great quality and staff! The place was packed for obvious reasons. My first trip here, but I shall return. The portions were impressive and prices were very reasonable.
I’ve been eating sushi here for 15 years since they were on Howard avenue. Hands down the best sushi in Tampa and beyond. Fresh and prepared perfectly. The kitchen menu is also delicious and has frequent specials that are always unique. The staff here is wonderful and if you haven’t been here you’re missing out!
WAS all time favorite sushi restaurant for many years. Went yesterday and the sushi was sloppy, a big heap of mess for the volcano and super loose and uneven pieces. It tasted average/ ok, it was nothing like it usually tastes or looks like. Asked are there new owners, as we didn’t see Jeff. Yep. New owners. Will not be going back. Will go to Jeff’s other restaurants.
