Delicious drinks and a sports bar vibe. Lots of cool artwork/murals on the walls. Homemade cocktails in glass, not plastic cups.
Very cool art throughout, local sports, and music. A bit more upscale than sports bar with leather barstools. Barstaff didnt use volcano salt for margarita, but hooked us up on mojito so all and all a nice stop.
Our alumni organization had a brunch event there and WOW, they did not disappoint! They took care of us all so well and there were almost 100 people in our party. The bar staff was so energetic and professional, our servers Natalia and Kayla are the sweetest human beings on planet earth, and the food came out the kitchen pipping hot and fresh!
Tampa Bay Restaurant Week 6/16-26Social House. The dominant vibe is bar but the food says restaurant. Seating mostly barstool and 4 dining tables. Also a casual outdoor seating area.We had the prix fixe menu for 2 at $65. The food was well made and nicely presented. The Picanha, the Tropical Rice Bowl, Tuna Tartare, Arugula Salad were all wonderful. Then some tasty dessert. We had a great lunch, heard some good music and were taken care of by a very nice young lady. Parking in the rear.
Terrible! Make sure you don’t order a vodka soda during happy hour if you don’t specify you want happy hour. They will give you whatever they want that’s not on their happy hour and if you ask they say, you should ask for happy hour. Well I said, vodka soda. Not Tito’s. Thanks for way overcharging me and telling me I am wrong for not saying I wanted special. I also didn’t ask for Tito’s.
We decided to eat on the patio. The wagyu burger with brussel sprouts were delicious. A friend got the avocado toast and said it was fantastic as well. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive.
New menu is very limited and pricey. I miss the wings! They were the best!!!☹️
Great experience!! Nice staff!! Perfect bar menu! I would recommend this place to anyone in the downtown Tampa area looking for an awesome place to eat, drink, and flat out have a good time! I will definitely have more photos to post very soon!
Stopped in on Saturday night. The place is under new ownership and had all new staff. Ordered a margarita ($13) and requested a Reposado tequila instead of the blanco. This turned the cocktail into a $20 drink (keep in mind the reposado was base grade, not a premium repo)! The bartender did not say this would be a $7 upcharge, even after my friend and I ordered another (a total of 4 drinks for a total of $80). My friends husband ordered a Jameson on the rocks and they charged him $2 for ice, again, not disclosing this when the drink was ordered. If we would have ordered a sprite would they have charged us for ice? This is also in the middle of hockey playoffs and we had to ask them to put on the game, which isn’t that big of a deal except they advertise themselves as a sports bar. Instead of sports, they had some Burt Reynolds movie playing. We have been to Social House numerous times under the previous ownership but will not be returning. Very disappointed.
