First time here and it's absolutely delicious! Such a fun menu with tons of variety! We ordered the Jamaican and the Tiramisu - both frozen which was perfect for a warm, sunny Florida day!
The staff was very welcoming!My partner and I had to leave back to go to the east coast so this was a nice sweet coffee treat I received!The flavor was her favorite, white chocolate and salted Carmel, it was very tasty ?
There is this cute little coffee shop on Gunn Hwy that my husband and I have been going to lately. It's called Sips. If you drive Gunn Hwy you might have noticed it but it's small and in a plaza so you may fly past it. It's in the same plaza that Marco's Pizza Shop and Super Walmart are located. I've lived here in Carrollwood for 3 years and I've just now started going there only because I've never really noticed it. Well you guys know me and I'm all about the SMALL GEMS ? of Tampa. Well this is Definitely one of them. Sips is a gourmet coffee shop that has made to order specialty coffee, drinks, beverages and desserts, they offer a multitude of flavors and unique options ?. My favorite is the Sips Latte (hot)... My husband loves their French Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk(hot), and of course we both get whip cream ?. My second go to, is their Frozen French Vanilla Latte with Whip Cream... I like to have that when I'm in the mood for a sort of an ice cream treat. Next time your in the Carrollwood area you should Definitely slow down and stop by this little Cafe and best of all they have a drive-thru!!!!
I'm not a coffee drinker at all but I met a friend here over the weekend since it's close to where I live. They had a few smoothie options so I decided to go with the berry one. I wish I had taken a picture of the delicious berry smoothie I had! That thing was fantastic! The staff was very friendly. It's not a large cafe but that's not a problem. I plan on returning to try the frozen hot chocolate. Love supporting small businesses!
I love this coffee shop because the coffee is always on point. The girls that work here are always cheerful and friendly. They are also very fast when it comes to fulfilling your order. I love that they have a drive thru. The coffee, whether hot or cold, is always perfect. Starbucks who?
What a great coffee shop. I had a Vanilla Latte that is better than most places around here. I highly recommend Sips. Drive thru is very convenient. Staff friendly, prices fair, and dress is casual.
I wanted to love this place because of the reviews and supporting small businesses but definitely disappointed. Went in ordering a caramel latte (to my understanding I thought was used with expresso) but was used with cold brew. Substitute with oat milk which was planet oat milk…. Basically could have got this same drink at Dunkin for a larger size and half the price. Drink was sweet & coffee doesn’t stand out. Feels like I’m drinking caramel oat milk. I don’t think i would come back. Would choose the Blind Tiger cafe over Sips. Heck, I’d probably even pick Starbucks for this cost and a full cup of ice in the end.
Best coffee shop in tampa hands down. Love supporting local spots as well and their unique flavors are soooo good! They have plenty of seasonal drinks as well!
The first time I tried Sips, was amazing. The coffee was strong but not burnt. The last two times I have come here, the coffee has tasted like water. No exaggeration. My boyfriend got a cold brew and I genuinely tasted no coffee flavor. They said it was because they put water in their cold brew concentrate. We asked if we could get it without water, they said no. My drink had “espresso” and did not taste like it at all. I hope they can fix this soon.
