I've eaten here for more than 20+ times. It's a very authentic Korean restaurant. The dish comes with a lot of great small dishes (Banchan) as well. My favorites are chicken Katsu and Kalbi tang. Their lunch boxes have a lot of variety. One of my favorite restaurants in Tampa.
We went on July 4th around 1pm and it was completely dead so it was good for us since we got full attention from our server. He didn’t inform us but since it was a holiday, it was dinner prices all day. No problem, we were okay with that. All locations have stopped doing AYCE so it’s now priced by 2 or 4 people or a la carte. We decided to just order from the menu instead since we all wanted other items from the menu too.Regardless of which portion you order from the menu, the prices were pretty steep. The galbi lunch was $18.99 but the galbi dinner was $29.99 and it was NOT portioned at dinner at all. We definitely like we got hustled.Ttoboki: 5/5! So good!Kimbap: 5/5, also so good!Tempura Vegetables: 2/5, it was too oily.Bonchon: 4/5 but it’s not unlimited! Lame.Jjampong: 3/5, it was smoky but not bad.Udon: 4/5, very tasty!Galbi: 4/5, tasty but portion was small.Chicken katsu: 3/5, tasted like chicken nuggets.Overall, it was very pricey but still better than ordering KBBQ for four because that was already $140 but with all the food we ordered, it was $150 and included tip. Service was good but we definitely will not be returning for the steep food prices. You can definitely get more for your money’s worth elsewhere.
We came here on a Thursday so, thankfully, there wasn’t many people inside. The food was great! I really liked the vibe of the place and could imagine how nice it feels at night! Service was quick!
I satisfy my cravings for Korean food at Sa Ri One about once every 2 months or so, and just now realized that I've never reviewed them. Walked in for a weekday dinner tonight and was seated immediately, no wait. I would say the restaurant was about 25% full. I ordered the beef bulgogi (to be cooked in the kitchen) and egg jjim (steamed eggs, topped with scallions, in a savory broth). After entering my order, the server returned with my drink, 7 types of banchan (side dishes), and white rice. I love their kimchi, pickles, spinach, and cabbage in mayo sauce. There were also bean sprouts, bean curd, and pickled radish. The wide variety meant that not everything was spicy; there was a good variety of flavors and textures. After a few minutes, she returned with a fajita skillet pilled high with beef bulgogi and the egg jjim, which was cooked in a stone bowl (like you would use for dolsot bibimbap). I enjoyed constructing the perfect bite by putting a little bit of everything together. I liked that I could taste the black pepper in the bulgogi sauce and the egg jjim reminded me of my Taiwanese grandmother's cooking. As usual, I brought home half of the meal for tomorrow's treat. The restaurant is clean and a great atmosphere for conversation (in other words, they don't have music cranked up). The service was friendly and efficient. If I were to point out any drawback, it would be that the proportion of white rice that they give you is insufficient for the food you get; but that's like complaining about getting "too much" meat. haha. And one of these days, I'll get around to waddling into their adjacent "Dessert Cafe" after dinner. For those who aren't familiar with Korean restaurants, you can expect to pay about the same as you would for a Japanese steakhouse. At Sa Ri One, it's worth every penny.
Clean and our server was very friendly! The food is absolutely amazing. The second combo was more than enough food and the kimbob was delicious! Can't wait to go again
It was a fantastic experience for me and my family. We enjoyed the food. It was amazingly delicious. We ordered the Combo-C and swapped chicken with pork. And, they did not say no to it. This gesture makes more comfortable. We have a wonderful lady as our server. She knows everything. She explained the food flavors exactly to the point. So, we did not get the surprising flavor.I would come back to k this place again. And also recommend friends to visit this place.
It’s the best Korean bbq in the area so far!))
I love Korean food so my review might be bias. I’m just thankful that we have a Korean BBQ in Tampa and don’t have to travel all the way out to Orlando. The banchan here are always fresh and yummy. The meats aren’t the best cuts ever, but they are delicious and flavorful. The service lacks in some areas but they are fairly quick and always nice. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a bite in the TB area.
We were looking to have Korean dinner for Wednesday night so we searched for a restaurant near us for the Korean food and seeing the reviews we decided to have Sa Ri One Grill Korean Restaurant. The restaurant was almost empty and we got the seating as soon as we checked in the restaurant. The restaurant is a fancy restaurant and it was amazing. We were greeted by our server Sang with the menus and water. We first got our Korean Appetizers which are served which includes Kimchi and Salad. After browsing through the menu we decided to order Kimchi Mandoo, Bul Go Ki Chicken and Dolsot Bibimboo with Chicken. The service was good and we got our food in 10-15 minutes. First we got Bul Go Ki Chicken and Dolsot Bibimboo. We really loved both of them especially Bul Go Ki Chicken which was tasty and delicious. After 5 minutes we got Kimchi Mandoo which were delicious and after having the other two dishes Kimchi Mandoo was too much to eat and they were too big. But all in all the food was delicious, tasty, hot and freshly cooked. Loved the ambience, good service and food.
Sa Ri One Grill had new dessert place open next door to the restaurent. I had Kiwi smootie with Lichi Jelly and it's awesome.
