My husband and I loved the starters and sushi here! Everything came out so quickly, tasted very fresh, and was delicious. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was phenomenal and we will definitely be back for it!

Stopped in for a date night. My wife and I enjoyed the food. It was very quiet in the restaurant. Not sure why expected it to be busy at 9pm on a Tuesday, but at least we got it and ordered and left before closing. Over all great service and food.

Best Crab Rangoon! The interior isn’t the best esthetically but the staff is very nice. I would rate 5stars if the serve time was consistent. Some times it’s quick other times you wait 1hr for your sushi.

Really really lovely! High end sushi for cheaper than I'm used to paying for it in Denver, CO. The sushi dinner was amazing, everything super fresh and just the right amount. Partner had the filet mignon and it was also DELICIOUS and exactly the right amount. So sad I'm not local, I'd definitely return!

Easy to pass by on Dale Mabry, as I have always seen it but not paid much attention. Glad I stopped in. Although primarily a sushi place, they do have a somewhat limited regular menu as well. Staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a nice modern décor that reminded me of being more in a trendy city than the suburbs. Tempura Sushi was great. The Ginger salad was superb. Teriyaki chicken was decent, but like I said, the real emphasis seems to be on the sushi.For the Uber eats people, I did see a lot of orders sitting here for quite some time (not the restaurant's fault). I checked my Uber delivery app, and people were offering no tip to come pick up the food orders, so Uber was giving drivers $3 for the whole delivery. Don't expect to get your food delivered through Uber if you are not tipping.

Always fresh food and the service has always been wonderful every time we have gone. I would love more vegan choices but there's definitely 3 or 4 different rolls to choose from. Definitely recommend the sweet potato tempura. Everyone always loves their meal and we always leave completely stuffed and satisfied.

UPDATE: We have been frequenting Samurai Blue about once a month over the last year and my original 5-stars holds strong! We've tried almost every roll on the menu and just about all of the appetizers and I have nothing but good things to say.Tonight was our first visit and I can, without a doubt, say this is our new go-to sushi spot. The Miso Corn, Crab Rangoon (real lump crab meat ya'll), Blue Moon roll, and Florida roll are musts! Service was perfect (thank you David) and it is a beautifully designed space. In the midst of COVID dining, I have to say, I have come to appreciate that just sanitized smell upon entering. Can't beat the prices for the obvious quality of ingredients, ambiance, and service.

hello, today we have tried to get to know this place based on the recommendations they gave us, but to our surprise it has a very bad customer service, we were a group of six people and they did not want to attend us arguing that the manager did not authorized attention for being a large group. I am very sorry that the expectations for which I went collapsed because of the attention of your employees. I don't recommend for this place

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I Uber eat’s this food tonight because My partner and I wanted sushi. They told us that it was gonna be an hour + wait when the driver got to the restaurant because there were “a lot of other orders “. WE ORDERED AT 6pm and didn’t get our food until 8 pm and it just to come out looking like this. Will not be ordering from this place again. I know it’s probably understaffed but you can hit stop taking Uber orders if it’s getting to be to much .

Last night's dinner was unapologetically pathetic. Wanting to try a new sushi place we gave it a go having passed this place so many times. *We should've checked the latest reviews before going.* Waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by our waiter who gave us no apologies for his lateness but we were ready with our order for food and drinks. 15 mins more we got water. Another 15 minutes goes by to finally get our drinks!! Really?!? By now 2 other couples left the restaurant. We wanted to leave by now as well. We then notice the table next to us got their food before us, after having been sat long after us. Finally, our ahi tuna tataki appetizer and ramen show up AND so does our sad looking sushi entrees. WOW! Presentation and service needs load of help here. He starts to serve my husband's food first. Etiquette?!? His ramen is flat cold. Waiter took it back and returned cold again. Sushi lacked presentation and no side plates to eat them with. Waiter got the manager after hearing our complaints. We mention to her that the only good thing tonight has been our drinks. She offered another ramen and drinks on the house. We wanted to leave and said no. No comp or discount. Sad, looks to us that training is needed here badly.
