The Salem's location on Fletcher Ave in Tampa would not honor my teacher appreciation $10 off card. Another slap in the face to our profession as they told me others had tried to bring it there. It was given to us from the Hillsborough Education Foundation.
Food is good enough but more expensive than it should be. They're open late which is great. More diverse options than McDonald's or Taco Bell when options are limited after midnight.
You know, I don't know what it is about this restaurant chain, but every time I get food from here, the food is always consistently good. The prices tend to be higher than most fast food places, but to be honest, in this case, the price reflects the product. I would highly recommend ANY Salem's location to anyone looking for something fast but not lacking quality.
Granted it was 1:45 in The morning and there were two cars in front of me. I sat at the drive-through speaker for 15 minutes and wasn't even acknowledged. This isn't the first time this has occurred. So I never got to even sample the food but will not be going back to this location. Especially when I pulled off and the vehicle behind me pulled up and I could hear the speaker immediately kick off.On 7/8 I sent a message on the website per the "store owner" suggestion. Will update if anything changes.7/16 Never heard back. I'll never visit any locations again. Plenty places with good customer service that I will give my business to.
Great Food just don't be in a hurry they make it to order. Great Chicken Wings and Fries. Good Dessert Selection. Don't care for their shakes or would be 5 stars
The best thing about this restaurant is that all food is cooked to order. My favorite is the grilled shrimp that are seasoned to perfection. Hot crispy fries with every meal. Since everything is cooked fresh there is a bit of a wait but well worth it.
Terrible customer service. Ordered bone in wings via drive thru , get home and the whole order is boneless. It was a 25 minute drive each way. Called them and they in order to refund my purchase, I would have to bring the food and receipt back to them. I paid with a credit card not cash. They should be able to reconcile my receipt with the order number. Not this place and to top it all off, the wings were the worst I ever had but you want me to bring the food back. It went right to the trash. I'll never go to this location again!
The manager noticed that i was waiting to place my order, she never acknowledged my presence. Chante the cashier, helped me and she was very professional. She was also handling 2 register while the manager went in the back office. She seemed very upset not friendly to approach. Please have change to show her what's customer service because as a manager she's awful. Food as always been great.
The food is always great here.. especially for late night quick-trips. The only down falls are the occasional attitude you may get from employees taking your order lol but it’s probably because they’re tired and are always busy (even at like 2-3am)… and a lot of times you’ll also see homeless people lingering around the doors and parking lot.. but again.. that’s not really their fault anyhow— just little inconveniences.
Short staffed. Charged $1 for extra sauce but no way to tell if I got it because it was all dumped on half of the Gyro which means it was all over the foil wrapper too. I'd have moved stuff around but the bathroom had a sign saying it was closed and neither if the sanitizer dispensers had anything in them so I wasn't touching my food! Onions were slimy. Nasty.
