We were disappointed. I am a frequent red snapper eater. We ordered two plates of fried snapper. The fish tasted old and fishy. Not the quality of the Haitian food we usually eat. The fish was seasoned, but something was missing. It did not taste like a fish that was well cleaned with limes and marinated in limes. Also, Haitian fried fish is normally fried in a nice coat of seasoned flour, which was not the case with these fish. The rice and beans were well cooked, but again, it had a weird burnt taste. We were told the plantain was a little ripe and it was disappointing because green plantain is a staple in Haitian cuisine.
Soooo good! First time here and I tried the chicken and sauce, rice and peas, plantain, pikliz, mac and cheese, and sautéed spinach. Everything was delicious, I'm stuffed, and there is still enough left over for almost 2 more meals haha!
Ordering catered food for an event can be stressful. You want to make sure that you are getting great quality, a good presentation, and delicious food. Sabine's Gout Creole exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and not one our 100 guests complained. Sabine communicated with us even after our event was over. The price is reasonable, the food is amazing, and it will be a game changer for your event. We are so happy we made the choice to have Sabine provide catering for our event. If you have not tried this amazing restaurant, I encourage you to stop in for a bite.
The food is always fresh and made to order, because of this there is a little bit of a wait, but it's always worth it!!! The flavors are unmatched!!
They ate everything… that Haitian ?? food is no joke thank you ?? Sabin’s Gout creole
Very sweet lady and her food is delicious!! My mom and I come here to reward ourselves after a long day of work!
I had red snapper in sauce and it was more than delicious. Fish, white rice, bean sauce, pikliz, plantain-- all made perfectly. Huge portion and you can tell they spent their time making your food.
This Spot is Five Star rate, hands down! Must drop in and check it out . Great food and great staff. Clean.
Not the best representation of Haitian cuisine. Food took over an hour to be ready, fish was overpriced and didn't look fresh, nor was it appealing. Spent $65 at this place and it's all in the trash. Never again.
The owner is super nice!!
