Pros: great atmosphere. They have a really nice patio and the inside is very chic. They also were able to sit our party of 7 when we got there (10:30am) without a reservation for brunch. Food menu is themed as a global array of options so there are a variety of different foods. My friends raved about the pancakes, grits, and grilled cheese. It’s also in a cute neighborhood. We saw a yoga studio doing morning outside yoga nearby.Cons: avocado toast was not the best. The bread was really thick and seemed to not be toasted. Also, I ordered a cappuccino and when the bill came I saw they made a “double” cappuccino. I thought it was pretty strong for a cappuccino when I was drinking it and so it made sense when I got the bill - so just be weary of that too!
We hosted an Engagement Brunch on Sat. 3/12 at Rome + Fig. We can’t say enough about how great the experience was! Our guests enjoyed the delicious menu and everyone had a fabulous time. We originally planned to be out on the patio but inclement weather forced us inside. The owner, Eric Zostant, set us up with a long table to accommodate all 23 of us. We felt like we were in a private room and didn’t even miss the planned patio dining. The serving staff was AMAZING! Never had to ask for anything, they were on top of all our needs, pouring champagne, quick food service, and they even cut and served the cake we brought. I could go on and on! Thanks Rome + Fig for helping to make an exceptional brunch celebration!

All the dishes were absolutely delicious. My personal favorite were the Bison meatballs and Lamb loin. Definitely added to one of my favorite places to eat in Tampa. The staff was super friendly and accommodated our certain requests. Thank you!
Very good breakfast/brunch place. Accommodated 8 of us even at the last minute. Very helpful ladies at hostess desk and the server was great. Had breakfast burger and it was very good. Avocado toast ordered by 3 others was also appreciated. Nice ambiance with a harp players!
Food was amazing, quality ingredients and each dish has a very unique flavor. The menu is small but everything was delicious. We tried the bbq jerk ribs, the curry soup, seafood linguini and the risotto. Each thing was great and had a very unique flavor. Their cocktails were also very good. This place did not disappoint, definitely recommend and will be back in the future.
Food was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere was top notch! I always start with dessert first and the blondie was amazing!
My boyfriend and I came in for brunch and Rome and Fig is definitely one our our new favorite spots. We both got the mimosa deal which gives you a full bottle of champagne and 3 different flavors to add, which were all fantastic. We both had the two egg breakfast and we were absolutely in love with the filet tips. the eggs were cooked well, the toast was perfect, we loved our entire meal. Our server seemed a bit too busy and overwhelmed but that was not a problem as we enjoyed our time enjoying the atmosphere. highly recommend!
Excellent place to hold an event. I celebrated my daughter’s College graduation dinner Dec 17, 2021 and we had an amazing time, Food and Service was great. But for me what stood out with this restaurant is how kind and accommodating the owners Cristine and Eric were with me and my daughter before the event and during. We called several place and when my daughter called Rome & Fig she was so please on how the owners took care of her and her needs for our event. I called expensive restaurant and It doesn’t compare to the service this couple provide to us. We had an amazing celebration for 27 people that came from abroad and they left so happy and left raving about the service, the FOOD and the ambience. The servers were great and patient with the madness of the food and drinks orders and we got our food quick. We were even able to create our on menu and decorate the place as well. Food, desert and service was excellent, I recommend this place 150 percent. I believe the food taste even better when you are serve with kindness, love and care.
